As fundraising dries up, Bernie Sanders campaign director for California quits

Ah--shucky darns.

As fundraising dries up, Bernie Sanders campaign director for California quits

http://www.dailynewsbin.com/news/bernie-sanders-campaign-director-for-california-quits/24777/

By dailynewsbin | May 11, 2016

With just four weeks remaining until the California democratic primary contest, Bernie Sanders finds himself certain to be mathematically eliminated from contention on that same day. Even though his losing campaign is pushing forward symbolically after having fallen behind by more than three million votes nationwide in a blowout, Sanders will do so without one of his key people: the campaign director for California has now quit.

Michael Ceraso, who has run several west coast elections, has officially parted ways with the Sanders campaign. He’s citing a “disagreement” over strategy. But the move comes at a time when Sanders fundraising is quickly drying up nationwide, having collapsed by nearly half in the course of a month, as his supporters continue to figure out that hasn’t come nearly as close to being competitive as cable news had long insinuated.

It’s no longer clear whether Sanders has enough remaining funds to run a proper campaign in California,
.......................................... And now Sanders himself is acknowledging that he doesn’t know whether he’ll run TV ads in the state, another hint that the campaign’s budget has dried up.

The sudden departure of Ceraso, as he reveals that he wanted to focus the campaign on “digital and more on the grassroots team” instead, suggests that there may now be infighting as to how the dwindling remaining funds should be spent. Sanders is behind Clinton in California polls by an average of ten points. ......................

a whole lot of lies were being posted here by SBSers about this website. Also.

What's up with this?

It's being reported on dozens of respectable sites: Cerasco, who has been with Sanders from the beginning, is leaving, apparently over how to proceed. The volume of donations is plummeting, and Sanders spent heavily in many states, so he really needs more money than he has now.

Okay. So that's the truth. Big deal. All campaigns have money flow problems and staffers leaving. Maybe save the passionate "denial" for something that matters?

Explanation: It would appear to be directed specifically toward one particular poster, thus a personal attack. Had it been a general statement, although vile, it would not have required a hide.
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: This doesn't even come close to hateful and divisive in GD/P.
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Frivolous alert.
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Lighten up folks. Also, I've seen few things as ironic as this quote - on DU - complaining about a Clinton supporter:
"Hateful and divisive broad-brush attack. DU deserves better than this." I guess the alerting member forgot to add "Coming from someone who supports a mass murderer" A comment that was allowed to stand by a previous jury I served on
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen?
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE

Do they mean he has been winning primaries or winning more primaries than Clinton?

They probably mean the latter even though it is Clinton: 21 - Sanders: 8.

They must mean winning more caucuses than Clinton. Sanders does have the edge with those things: Sanders: 11 - Clinton: 5.

They can't go with winning contests as that has Clinton: 26 - Sanders: 19.

Maybe they mean how many groups they win. Yes, that must be it. They lose with the Closed Primaries and Open Primaries. Closed Primaries they are wiped out 9-0. But they do better with Modified Primaries and all forms of Caucuses.

Head of Bernie Sanders’s Campaign in California Is Replaced

http://www.nytimes.com/politics/first-draft/2016/05/11/head-of-bernie-sanderss-campaign-in-california-is-replaced/?_r=0

Senator Bernie Sanders’s presidential campaign replaced its California state director

Wednesday, less than a month before voters in the delegate-rich state cast their primary ballots.

Michael Ceraso, who had been directing the campaign’s efforts in the state, will be replaced by Robert Becker, who has run the Sanders campaign’s operations in other states.

Mr. Ceraso, 34, said in an interview Wednesday that he wanted the campaign in California to devote more resources on supporting volunteers, digital initiatives and field organizing than on buying expensive television advertising.

“I felt that we should be spending more on digital and more on the grassroots team,” Mr. Ceraso said. “It just came down to a disagreement.”

Bernie's CA campaign shake-up was done on purpose. They replaced director w/ stronger one.

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/bernie-sanders-shakes-california-campaign-staff/story?id=39047398

Bernie Sanders' campaign has replaced its California state director less than a month before the state votes in its primary, according to campaign manager Jeff Weaver.

Michael Ceraso, who was the campaign's deputy director in New Hampshire, has been replaced with the campaign’s former Iowa state director, Robert Becker. Becker was sent to Michigan and New York and other key states in the last few months. He is already working in Los Angeles, campaign sources told ABC News today.

"Robert Becker is now the state director for Bernie in California,” campaign spokesman Michael Briggs said in a statement. “Becker is one of the most seasoned and savvy people working on our campaign or any campaign.”

Sanders himself has said that winning the Golden State, which holds its primary on June 7, is "imperative” to his long-shot effort to overtake rival Hillary Clinton in the race for delegates. But the change-up speaks to larger uneasiness within Sanders’ ranks ahead of the primary with the largest number of delegates at stake.

I believe the Democratic primary was rigged. 100,000+ people were denied the right to vote. I think every ploy was used, including rigging the machines.

The exit poll from CNN had it very close. According to the US government, when the exit polls are off by 2 percent, that is evidence of fraud. The NY exit polls were off by 12.

I don't believe for one second that the NY Democratic priimary result is valid.
