Let me put is this way about Hillary and Elizabeth Warren...

This is how Elizabeth Warren responded to Donald Trump via Twitter today

http://www.dailykos.com/stories/2016/5/11/1525548/-Donald-Trump-learned-a-very-important-message-today-do-NOT-pick-a-fight-with-Elizabeth-Warren

If Hillary does actually get the nomination, and actually could get Elizabeth Warren to run for VP, I'd be mightily impressed and WAY MORE INTERESTED AND MOTIVATED to support the Democratic ticket in November.

Failing to get Warren, it would be great if she had another strong Progressive voice there, to ensure the party unity and keep Sanders folks of all kinds motivated and fighting for success of the Democratic ticket.

Failing that, would be great to see her stick with Progressive/Populist/traditionally Democratic positions she has staked out with Bernie during this long campaign.

No need, no purpose, and very poor strategy to run looking for Republican supporters to straggle in.

If Hillary does get the nomination, this is how it should be done. Enlist the help of people like Elizabeth Warren.

Because her actions would directly contradict everything she says. Essentially, she'd be selling out her ideals.

the New Democrat Coalition, which is advised by the Third Way. The VP pick will be based entirely on demographics and fealty, not the issues that Hillary does not even pretend to care about. The only reason Hillary would pick Warren would be to use her to pander for our votes, and then to relegate her to dinners and funerals and then laugh at getting her "out of hand" presence out of Congress.

they think or say it does (probably disingenuously) currently.

And I actually truly hope for a rude shock of awakening for some folks around here, who don't seem to get yet how far we have fallen from the best and most successful days of the Democratic Party in the past.
