"Impossible" is knowing how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.
"Impossible" is one thing. "Improbable" is another.
Bernie Sanders winning the nomination is not an impossibility. Kindly STFU.

(11,936 posts)People that are making that argument also seem to make the argument that Bernie is irrelevant now or something. It has to be one way or the other, it can't be both.
Besides, Bernie's campaign is probably STILL doing more to engage and create new Democrats than the DNC is capable of under its current "leadership".

I believe with the right combo, maybe a base of milk, brussel sprouts, indian food and onions, it is conceivable that one could fart oneself to the moon.
Hmmmm....might have just given myself something to do this weekend!

(13,417 posts)There was a post here on DU that said Bernie seemed to be ahead 2:1 with newly registered CA voters who considered themselves Independents and thus did not register as Democrats. However, that is such a small sliver of the potential Dem primary voter base that it is not even close to representing a 2:1 polling lead in the overall CA primary.

(3,473 posts)In the Democratic presidential race in California, Hillary Clinton leads Bernie Sanders 57 percent to 38 percent.
For this poll, SurveyUSA interviewed 2,400 California adults from April 27 to April 30. Of the adults, 2,011 were registered to vote in the state of California. Of the California registered voters, 529 were determined by SurveyUSA to be likely to vote in the June Republican presidential primary, 826 were determined by SurveyUSA to be likely to vote in the June Democratic presidential primary, 1,502 were determined to be likely to vote in the June U.S. Senate primary, and 1,683 were determined to be likely to vote in the November general election.
This is the most recent poll that I could find.

(2,064 posts)and Bernie winning California should give the Superdelegates a reason to consider their allegiance to HRC.
The people of California can truly alter the course of America. Bernie is certainly the best choice for a state that has historically been on the leading edge WRT progressive issues.
