"Hillary Clinton wants you to ignore the reality of the polls — and you shouldn't"

"It strains all logic for any of us to be asked repeatedly to ignore the warning signs about Hillary Clinton. Nineteen states who have voted for Bernie Sanders appear to have had enough. Eight more states get their say over the next month. At what point will the Democratic Party acknowledge that she is simply not the best candidate to defeat Donald Trump?"

It's like begging a girlfriend to go back to you after you cheated on them with their best friend.

The problem with this logic is that you can't overturn a popular vote result and expect to win a general election. Clinton supporters would not vote for Sanders under those circumstances, they would ignore that he was even on the ballot and work towards defeating Trump in 2020.

With that said, the Democratic Party isn't going to overturn a pledged delegate result. That has never happened and it will not happen now.

I think you mean more independent. You know, the type of voters that support Bernie Sanders.
