He was in Charge when New York was hit in 2001. He presided over the intelligence failure that got 3000 Americans killed in New York. You have a knack for picking the most extreme right wing hacks. He was Bush's guy and quit after Obama was elected. This guy is a morning Joe fav...Heyden and his pal Rudy are around to scare people into giving big bucks to the military industrial complex...strange bedfellows Bernie supporters...the question is why would you think anything this guy says is of any interest to a Democrat...unless you are a Bernie supporter I suppose.

http://crooksandliars.com/2016/03/michael-hayden-says-obama-doesnt-think

"The producers at Morning Joe pull out the rolodex marked "terror attack" and phone up....Rudy Giuliani and Michael Hayden.

The alleged reason to have these two jokers come on the air is because Rudy is Mayor 9/11 and Hayden is former CIA *AND* NSA, so you're getting a handful of "expertise" on terrorism, right?

Wrong. You're actually getting two guys who make big money off of the Military Industrial Complex convincing the zeitgeist that more and more taxpayer dollars must be spent on "security" for the sake of safety.

Rudy still owns a 30% stock of "Giuliani Partners," a consulting firm that deals with...confidential clientele. "The success of Giuliani Partners has always hinged on Mr. Giuliani’s having an outsize public profile, and his frequent appearances have the added benefit of keeping his name in the headlines. Still, he is happy to be no longer under the intense scrutiny he experienced while running for national office."

And Hayden is neck deep in drones. "Hayden sits on the board of Motorola Solutions, which last year “made a strategic investment in CyPhy Works, a leading developer of advanced unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), also known as drones,” as a press release (3/16/15) from the company declared. Motorola Solutions paid Hayden $240,125 for his services last year."

...for all I know. I've merely been analyzing what he said and why, and also the timing of it. It's in "The Art of War" somewhere to pay close attention to what your enemy says. It can give you an advantage. I think there is an effort by the intelligence agencies to influence the FBI investigation, and his statements were part of it.

It's not just the emails. She is corrupt. Corrupt people are the easiest to blackmail, cuz there are lots of corners for a blackmailer to burrow in. And she also suffers from what the Greeks called hubris. She hangs out with really terrible people who are, indeed, above the law--George Bush, Henry Kissinger. And she appears to think that she, too, is above the law, and that makes her reckless, for instance, in her setting up of a private, secret email server to do government business on, failing to protect sensitive national security information, and then failing to insure permanent wiping of all copies of her emails (which were required by a FOIA case, after her server was accidentally discovered). Dumb. Careless. Reckless. And incompetent. Good blackmail material.

I think the question is, do we want another Nixon in the White House, who was so stupid as to tape everything he said in the Oval Office, and to then amateurishly erase 17 minutes of it, so that it was obvious to all that 17 minutes had been deliberately erased?

If we have to have a corrupt president, the least we can ask is that she is smart enough to cover her ass. God knows what tangles she will get herself into, that she can't out of. Do we want such a person in charge of nukes? Can we depend on such a person to get us $12/hr? No, she's going to be answering Articles of Impeachment for four years. What fun.

Mutual dirt... Mutually assured destruction...

Imagine the relationship between Hillary and Wasserman Schultz. They have both done so much shady shit that it is in their mutual best interests if they both stay on.

This is why I think some in Congress have said they will take this up, if the DoJ doesn't respond to it appropriately. They know it is serious. They're also alarmed that she doesn't see all the things she has done as serious. Yes I agree, it would be a very risky thing to put her in the WH, given the potential for blackmail. That's why I think it's a good thing that most of her emails have been published, and the facts about her and Bill's activities during this era are being disclosed (albeit unwillingly) and written about. What's known is of no use as blackmail. But that still leaves a lot that isn't public.

The risk could spread beyond her too, to people whose information was in any of the State Dept. emails, or the emails of numerous other high level Americans hacked by Guccifer.

It's a 6 degrees of separation scandal, both in how it happened, and as to how far it could go. And most likely we wouldn't know about it. The hacker claims he has a really huge amount of info in the cloud somewhere, so who knows what may yet come of this.

You know what I wonder grasswire? How did Obama not know in the 4 years that she was SoS, that she was not using a .gov email address? She would have to email him once in a while, right? Or email someone on his upper staff? How did no one notice her address and think it was weird?

The same for other high level government people who communicated with her or her staff. No one noticed this? Could it be that no one ever reached her directly, and they weren't sure if her staff were employees of State or private? It's a very public position she held, to get away with something like this.

"Apparent" facts are not facts. You believe that they are facts, but can present no evidence to that effect.

So, at this point, the reality is that Hillary Clinton is not "blackmailable," whatever you think that might mean.

And that, young Grasswire, is the existential paradox of politics.
