Implying that there is something wrong with Sanders because he wrote a sex story and had it published- which is entirely legal by the way.

But there's nothing inappropriate with Clinton cavorting with a known pedophile and traveling with him to the scene of his crimes cause Clinton isn't responsible for his pals behavior.

I do find it odd that Bernie Sanders writes about women fantasizing about being raped, teenage girls having sex and later voted against Amber Alert, as well as criminalizing computer generator child porn. That is weird and creepy. I don't feel like I can morally vote for someone like that. Something isn't right.

but using the standard of the OP, the absense of evidence for any wrongdoing only means that it was covered up or bought off.
It is an absurd stance that is needed to silence calls for backing up the claims from the beginning. It amounts to a system that follows neither the guideline of assuming innocence until proven guilty, nor is it the extreme, guilty until proven innocent. It is a standard where innocence is in fact either impossible or worthless as the final verdict will be guilty anyways.
It is very telling whenever a post needs such a caveat.

Not promoting child porn, but protecting freedom of speech on the Internet. This ws back in the Dark Ages of the Bush administration. I actually posted a thread about it at the time.

Bill would prevent indecency fines against cable
Content Regulation | Feature | April 4, 2005
News Media Update WASHINGTON, D.C. Broadcasting April 4, 2005

http://www.rcfp.org/browse-media-law-resources/news/bill-would-prevent-indecency-fines-against-cable
Bill would prevent indecency fines against cable
The "Stamp Out Censorship Act" would counter attempts to regulate programming beyond broadcast television.
April 4, 2005 -- The Federal Communications Commission would be prohibited from slapping indecency fines on cable and satellite television and the Internet, under a bill introduced by Rep. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).
Nonpublic broadcasts such as those on cable and satellite television and the Internet are not now subject to indecency regulation. Sanders wants to keep it that way by preventing the FCC from penalizing indecency aired by "providers of video over cable television systems, satellite carriers, the Internet" or nonbroadcast providers, according to the"Stamp Out Censorship Act of 2005,"introduced March 17.
Sanders spoke against the "Broadcast Decency Enforcement Act of 2005," which would raise broadcast indecency fines. The "specter of censorship is growing in America today, and we have got to stand firmly in opposition to it," Sanders said on the House floor in February. "What America is about is not necessarily liking what you have to say or agreeing with you, but it is your right to say it."
Reps. Neil Abercrombie (D-Hawaii), Rick Boucher (D-Va.), Jim McDermott (D-Wash.), Ron Paul (R-Texas) and Diane Watson (D-Calif.) are cosponsoring the bill, which was referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.

This is what the democrats should be addressing, instead of trying pandering to the "traditional family values" crowd.

http://bernie.house.gov/indecency.asp

Indecency

Representative Bernie Sanders is extremely concerned about the growing trends toward censorship and authoritarian government that we are seeing in the United States today. Earlier this year, Members of the House and the Senate, as well as the new Chairman of the FCC, Kevin Martin, expressed their desire to apply FCC indecency rules to programming provided over cable and satellite as well as material on the Internet. This move would represent an unprecedented expansion of federal power to control what Americans see and hear. Unlike broadcast programming, which is sent into people’s homes over the publicly-owned airwaves, consumers voluntarily sign up for and pay for cable, satellite and Internet service. Allowing the FCC to regulate these services would, in essence, permit the government to control what content people can buy—something that even former FCC Chairman Michael Powell says is unconstitutional.

Just as troubling is the incredibly vague language which defines the FCC's decency standards. This unclear language has already caused broadcast stations to self-censor material because they do not want to risk receiving exorbitant fines. Extending these vague standards to paid programming will cause controversial and cutting-edge programming will grow increasingly rare. If Americans want to watch The Sopranos, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, or other programs targeted to adult audiences, the FCC should not be able to stop them. If we start regulating cable for “indecency,” where will it end? Will it soon be “indecent” for people on television to criticize the President? Is that the far right’s definition of “freedom?”

In March of 2005 Representative Sanders introduced H.R. 1440, The Stamp Out Censorship Act. This bill, which has 20 bi-partisan cosponsors, would clarify that the Federal Communications Commissions power to regulate indecency applies only to material broadcast over the public airwaves and does not extend to cable, satellite, the Internet, or any other medium. This legislation has been referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.

If there is one thing that is going to make a HRC living in the White House interesting, it's Bill, returning to the scene of the impeachment, undaunted by any personal responsibility, and having A Lot of time on his, um, hands.

That and his ability to counsel her through the halls of an impeachment filing of her very own.

What a duo. And they call it the Clinton Democratic Royalty...I don't think so.

it's their business. Just like picking on Chelsea's looks back in the day or outing somebody who is a closet gay - that's low and uncalled for. It's a little bit grayer if it's a "Christian" who preaches the defense of marriage while cheating because Hypocrisy can be fair game.

But if its pedophilia then it's more than fair to ask. Epstein has been prosecuted. Clinton used the Lolita express at least a dozen times. He has history with younger women (though not with underage). He was there. It's fair to ask and it matters.

Not like Bernie's fantasies. Or Jimmy Carter having lust in his good ole Christian heart. Nothing solid there.

It matters like with Hastert or Foley. You have crimes to hide it makes you vulnerable to Blackmail. I wonder if Hastert ever got blackmailed.

I DO wonder why she used the phrase she did. Made me think of stained dresses for some reason.

May 2016

I read about this "Lolita Express" story involving Bill Clinton taking flights on Epstein's private plane--a year ago.

I haven't revisited the subject since. I haven't read any new articles

I read a Politico article, and also a Newsweek article. (There was also another very long article--from a mainstream source. Vanity Fair? The Atlantic)

Politico

Press reports have noted that Bill Clinton, as well as actors Kevin Spacey and Chris Tucker, used Epstein's private 727 to travel to Africa in 2002 for a Clinton Foundation tour of AIDS-fighting and development work. Flight logs filed in connection with another lawsuit show at least 10 journeys by Clinton on Epstein's planes.

Newsweek
Some presidents and princes, having acquired a taste for the trappings of high office or monarchy, find it hard to resist the allure of the private jet. There were obviously other attractions for Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton – the private island in the Caribbean described by former staff as “like a five star hotel where nobody paid”, the pretty girls offering massages, the on-tap chat about theoretical physics..."

As far as Paula Jones, she sued. After Bubba battled her tooth and nail for over two years while on the taxpayer payroll, (1) a case came down interpreting the law about sexual harassment in the workplace differently than it had been interpreted to that point; and (2) the Jones attorneys named a new witness that they wanted to call, whereupon Bubba settled with Jones for more money than she had originally sued for. Do the math.

Of course, whenever wild accusations about the Clinton fall through, the accusers just claim there was a cover up. There was no cover up in this case though, because the guy behind the scam went to jail.

When old men sexually exploit an young underage girl it is wrong to refer to the girl as a Lolita (it inappropriately tries to shift the blame to the underage victim).

Definition of Lolita : a precociously seductive girl

It is also wrong to refer to what occurred as an orgy because when most people hear the word orgy they think of consenting adults, not old men sexually exploiting underage girls.

If that was your daughter, granddaughter or sister would you want her referred to as a Lolita who engaged in island orgies?

The FBI joined the investigation in 2006 amid evidence that dozens of underage girls had been abused by Epstein and his friends, but the billionaire dodged federal prosecution thanks to a sweetheart deal negotiated with the Justice Department by lawyers including Ken Starr, the special counsel who ironically investigated Clinton’s financial dealings and sex allegations during his presidency.

The FBI probe was halted and its files tightly sealed — including all security camera video that might show the sex activities of Epstein and his pals — in exchange for his guilty plea to two relatively-minor underage sex charges.

A subsequent lawsuit, challenging that non-prosecution agreement, accuses officials of being pressured by powerful men to stop the FBI investigation.

with a light sentence.

How odd that a supposed "Christian" prosecutor should do a 180 and let a predatory pedophile off so easy. Something strange was going on there. Doesn't that bother you at all?

But Hillary Clinton is the presumptive Dem nominee, since year zero, so it's clear that your focus on this is just to take the focus off Trump, the Rep nominee, and it obviously follows that you promote whatever depravity that Trump exhibits.

Hey, Trump exhibits a lot!

So it's a question, if confined to a C vs T bubble, of who you want to fuck over the first and the worst.
It being a question of your intelligence as a voter in the USA.

Don't you feel wonderful, being constrained to a C vs T bubble? It makes for the best reality-TV.

The fact that Bill might be hanging around with such unsavory characters will be new fodder for the GOP and media and the campaign will descend to levels that I prefer not to speculate on.

The Clintons tend to be a magnet for this stuff, about sex and everything else. They are scandal magnets, and unfortunately it not not all a fiction concocted by the vast right wing conspiracy.

... is a small number of trolls plus some of the perpetually disgruntled who are in search of absolutely any outrage they can pin on Clinton to save Bernie.

This silliness might actually be good news.

An indication that the Bern-outs are coming to realize he's not going to win the election, and so their only remaining hope is for some scandal (absolutely ANY scandal) that would remove Hillary from the race, clearing the way for their new Messiah to lead them to paradise.

So now they are reaching as deep into the sewer as they can in hopes of finding that piece of gold.

Claire McCaskill for example. She saw Bill Clinton as a great leader but didn't want her daughter near him for some reason.

Senator McCaskill seems to be implying she's afraid Bill Clinton would sexually assault her daughter if they were left alone together. Do I understand her meaning correctly?
