What if: Ben Carson was the first Black President?

And not President Obama.
How would that effect the chances of another African American male being elected for several cycles?
My guess is that it would hurt the chances of another black man from being elected again.
No matter how ignorant, racist, and unfair that it is, our country would use the First A.M. president as a living example of what might happen when the nation goes against the grain.

Now.

What if: Hillary Clinton was the first female President of the USA?
And her term was riddled by witch hunts, fake and real scandals, possible indictment, and "A more Muscular foreign policy" (Her words).
With her likeability so low and the decades of stuff that can and will be thrown at her, How long would it be until the U.S. Electorate as sexist and unfair as it would be would give a Woman as President another shot?
Would a Elizabeth Warren ever have a Shot after something like that?

I am of course a staunch Bernie supporter and I mean this as only something to think about and NOT a Hillary bashing thread even though many will take it that way.
