Comcast and MSNBC Continue to Deep Six Sanders

http://trofire.com/2016/05/14/comcastmsnbc-continues-deep-six-sanders/

It’s clear by now that it is in MSNBC‘s and network owner Comcast’s best interest to push Senator Bernie Sanders out of the presidential race, which is why pundits are putting a great deal of pressure on the candidate and his staffers to do so.

During an interview with the Sanders campaign’s top aide Jeff Weaver, an MSNBC host pressed Weaver to admit that the campaign has no chance of gaining the nomination.

“But, Jeff—when we look at the math, is it intellectually dishonest to tell these supporters that you can actually win when there are only a little over 1,000 delegates left? Bernie Sanders needs to win almost 100 percent of them. Hillary Clinton only needs to win 10 percent of them before the convention.”

“I mean, there’s one thing to say you want to take it all the way to the end, but telling supporters that you can win is factually incorrect.”

Weaver denied that allegation, saying that neither candidate will meet the required number of delegates, meaning it will come down to Superdelegates either way.

Sanders isn’t out of this, no matter how much corporate media insists he should be.

The DNC Joins Arms with America’s Most Hated Company to Host National Convention

http://usuncut.com/politics/democratic-national-convention-comcast/

Comcast, which has been named America’s worst company, is an honored guest at this year’s Democratic National Convention.

Philadelphia, which is the home of the cable giant’s headquarters, is also hosting this year’s Democratic National Convention — at the Comcast Spectator’s Wells Fargo Center. And as the New York Post recently reported, the Democratic Party is offering prime access to convention activities and leading elected officials to Comcast executives who donate $100,000 or more.

These so-called “Empire Donors” are given access to members of Congress for photo-ops at the convention podium, slots at VIP dinners, and even tickets to a New York Yankees game with a “special guest.” Progressive advocacy organization Public Citizen told the Post the arrangement reeks of a corrupt, pay-for-play system.

“The company that chips in with $100,000 will have one-on-one access with the presidential candidate and congressional lawmakers as well, and they are buying influence in our government,” Public Citizen spokesman Craig Holman told the Post. “It’s one of the most offensive elements of our campaign process, an embarrassment that doesn’t pass the smell test and has never passed the smell test.”

Which is why I refuse to vote for her if she wins... It's scary how much they want her to win.

There is no way for Bernie to overtake Hillary in the pledged delegates without something close to a miracle occurring. The campaign knows that they will not win every remaining contest by a margin he has only approached in a primary in Vermont and New Hampshire. They know it, but they continue to tell their supporters they have a 'real path' to victory. No, they don't.

If we're going to call Trump out for being delusional, the same thing has to apply to Bernie.

to weed out the left in the country. There're no grassroots that have the potential to challenge business class on the republican side. Their grassroots are Tea Party -the suckers that were so easily astroturfed by Koch brothers and FOX News. And they're now being astroturfed by Trump. He's a big, orange astroturf. They can beat up protesters, Latino homeless person, and Muslims all they want, but they're not a threat because they're not a threat to the business class. They're utterly subservient to the business class. They admire Trump because "he's the boss," and he "hires people."
The left, on the other hand, can be dangerous if you let them be. They can even nominate someone like Kucinich or Bernie if you don't coordinate sophisticated attacks against them.
MSNBC and DNC are pretty pissed. They used to be more successful at this. Together, they kicked Kucinich off the debate stage. All of the major media in US are anti-left. Jill Stein literally got chained to the ground before she got on the debate stage. God forbid she speak to the national audience. DNC tried to obstruct Bernie, too. Two days before the second debate DWS went to the press alerting them about the "datagate." They should have derailed Bernie long time ago. That's their problem. Unfortunately, this is nothing new.

Only Bernie and his supporters fail to recognize this point. If Bernie wants to carry on and his supporters continue to send money and show up at rallies, so be it. They will have to face the truth sooner or later.

Oh wait, they were bought out by Brock and are now functioning as an adjunct to Hillary's campaign. This is exactly the kind of issue C.R.E.W. was created to deal with. The irony, we are SO SCREWED! Corruption of the highest order.

Supporters of Bernie want to see our Nation move away from Corporation Politics to People Politics. They recognize what the big picture is and they do not want some Corporate Board Room stomping out their dreams and aspirations. We are seeing Civics 101 playing out on our National Stage, and Comcast is the Stage Manager at this point in time, like it or not. And their number one enemy is Bernie Sanders cause he has awaken a sleeping giant of the public,as to how and why the game is what it is.

And all of us who are behind the Sanders Campaign knew it was a long shot and we are in it till the fat lady sings at the National Convention. Then we are one hundred percent behind who ever is our Party's Nominee. If one thinks real Democrats are going to jump ship, for get about it. Remember what happened when Nixon conned many Union Voters to vote for him, well how did that work out for them? Remember when Ronald Reagan bullcraped Dems to vote for him, well how did that work out,not very well did it. How about those Lunch Bucket Dems who voted for Bush, need I say more.
