(9,688 posts)It projects Hillary's greatest weaknesses on her enemy, Trump.
Of course Trump already has plenty of weaknesses, not least that he's a neo-nazi who's enthusiastic about re-introducing torture and eliminating the federal minimum wage. But that doesn't matter. What matters is that Hillary projects her failing on Trump, while avoiding discussion of anything to do with her personal finances, the finances of her foundation, the finances of the companies that own her. She set up a private server so as to foil any kind of transparency, even with the gov't she served, to hide the absolutely incredible graft. Just from what we know, that she couldn't succeed in hiding, the corruption and graft is orders of magnitude greater than I've ever seen. Consider just the Saudi dealings, alone - just wow.
So to project that on Trump, to take the heat off her, makes sense.
She does it in her campaign vs Sanders, too.

(9,688 posts)counting her husband's takings. That's in the books.
Then count in the takings of the family foundation, the payoffs coincidental with deals, and there's a smell of corruption that even Trump hasn't reached. Yet.
You used to be for O'Malley, or so you said, now you're just spouting mindless pro-Clinton talking points "Oh dear. Hillary is such a victim!"
Shallow.

The Sanders campaign used to be about high ideals and big ambitions. Now it's just a pathetic, anti-Hillary effort. Listen to yourself. So wrapped up in this fiction you've created about Hillary that you can't even bring yourself to defend against the real threat to your professed progressiveness.
delrem
(9,688 posts)So, what the fuck did happen to your interest in O'Malley's politics, in your journey to a position where your deepest argument is to claim that the the Clinton family finances are "a myth"?
Do you give a shit about ANYTHING?
bigtree
(85,975 posts)...and you're still fighting the primary you've all but lost.
More than that, you're busy arguing with a projection of your own bias, amazingly, pathetically, extending that petty politics to rag on me like you actually know something substantive enough about me to make such strident judgments.
You're conclusions about the Clintons are certainly a myth. Like this election you've lost - but still acting like you're accomplishing something more than just bashing Hillary - your accusations of corruption are not proven and haven't gone any further than the speculative, innuendo stage for the decades they've been a staple of right-wing opposition.
There's nothing more illustrative of the vacuousness of the Sanders campaign than the continued focus on this failed anti-Hillary effort and the willful enabling of the opposition to her by furthering and continuing these bogus attacks.

(9,688 posts)And to taunt with the "your candidate lost!", as if that pertained to the issue.
I don't think you care about ANYTHING.
bigtree
(85,975 posts)...if you want to continue the primary on behalf of Sanders, start your own thread.
If you're still intent on advocating against the presumptive Democratic nominee, you'll have to carry that on without my participation or cooperation.
You do that without any regard to the real threat to your professed progressiveness, though. Your choice. No one is forcing you to advocate against Hillary, but, in just a matter of weeks, that effort will best be accommodated at less Democratic sites than this one. Good luck with all of that.

That's not going to work.

Come November, like in South Park, it really will come down to a choice between a Giant Douche and a Turd Sandwich.
So all together, now:
We've got spirit, yes we do!
We are sandwiches filled with poo!

(5,761 posts)This is Hillary's problem, everything she is going to accuse Trump of she has done! It's a circle jerk of idiocy.
She says Trump basically hates immigrants yet Hillary voted for a border fence!
Don't think for one second this will go unnoticed.

Inquiring minds want to know because I want to do it, too. Also, all those young women who are supposed to be inspired by this female champion? How do they follow in her footsteps. Let's skim past the marrying up part.
