(31,700 posts)Sexton reported that nearly 64 Bernie Sanders delegates to the state convention were excluded from the convention process. Sanders only had 33 fewer delegates than Clinton in attendance.
The credentials minority report is based on the challenge of 64 Sanders delegates. Contrary to the procedures and precedents set by the committee, nearly none of these 64 people were presented with the opportunity to be heard by the committee or to demonstrate that they are registered Democrats," Sexton said. "Without the opportunity to be heard, no delegate could be stricken. The actions of the credentials committee violates the spirit of the Nevada state delegate plan which encourages full participation in the democratic process, and it violates the spirit and values of our state and our nation."
The DNC committee member said the report would be submitted to the DNC.
The entire convention was plagued by problems as Sanders supporters decried various voice vote decision, the delegate counts, and booed Sen. Barbara Boxer.
Nevada's delegate process was thrown into chaos after Sanders supporters outnumbered Clinton supporters at the Clark County convention, allowing more of his delegates to attend the state convention.

(1,947 posts)that candidate being Hillary Clinton. When asked how she is different from the other presidents " well I'm a woman"
When Bernie said we can do all the shouting we want about guns Hillary spun it into it being sexist about Bernie using the term shouting because of her being a woman.
You are possibly the most fictional poster on this site, but you aren't wrong about her running two campaigns. She is running one campaign for the 1% and they already know this from various fundraisers etc. Then she is running the other one for her, not us, you know the kind where she adopts portions of platforms she never intends to act upon. Gullible people fall for that shtick. So for once you did tell a portion of the truth. Applaud yourself, for you are making huge gains.

(47,053 posts)you aren't going to deny that women have major hurdles compared to men to reach the Presidency I hope.

(1,947 posts)people as a result of the vetting process. Maybe she isn't as strong and tough if every issue brought out has to be deemed sexist, i.e. picking on a girl. Facts be damned .

(2,565 posts)She got battled to a tie by an outsider in the democratic primary and has no path to victory in the general election.
She IS deeply flawed.
She IS weak.
Not sexist, just truth.

(23,156 posts)candidate two years ago. She raised huge amounts of money early on, specifically to discourage any potential challengers. She got them anyway.
We were told early on that Bernie would at best take one primary or caucus, that being Vermont, but she'd win everything else. So what's really happened? He's won far more caucuses and primaries than ever expected, and spare me the crap about open vs closed.
She cannot possibly win the general election without independent voters, who break strongly for Bernie. She was supposed to be the sure thing, and she still hasn't clinched the nomination. The investigation into her email server is still going on, even though people here daily try to claim it's all wrapped up. Do we really want to even consider nominating someone being investigated by the FBI for truly serious breaches of security?
She really is weak, she really is flawed. Her negatives are high and still rising. Why on god's green earth would any thinking person want to nominate someone like that?
And that's not even taking into consideration her truly despicable stands on so many issues.

Hillary has used sexism against Bernie supporters. You have no right to be taken seriously.

(30,247 posts)Sanders will not be the nominee. He has a right to run until the last state has voted. Which is fine with me since my state hasn't voted yet and I want to cast my vote for Hillary.
The strategy that I find outrageous, and unrealistic, is their insistence that super delegates will switch to Sanders at the convention based on match-up polls between him and Trump. This flawed strategy only serves to lead his followers into thinking that the super delegates would even consider for a minute giving the nomination to the candidate who is losing on both counts: pledged delegates and popular vote. It won't happen. Least of all because they know that Hillary's supporters will not take it lying down. I doubt that I would be the only one fighting against this tooth and nail. Deny the nomination to the winning candidate and watch what happens. At the very least, there would many of us staying home in November.
