When, instead of condemning a guy for yelling "bitch" at a person you instead regurgitate talking points. The general public sees that kind of behavior and usually joins the other more civil, mature side. Since, despite what you think, both candidates are liberal, the choice is easy.

58. Butbutbut - she doesn't support MY candidate!

It seems like someone in public office can spend decades supporting liberal issues, pushing for liberal legislation, making sure important issues don't get swept under the carpet - everything short of curing cancer and walking on water - and some people will dismiss a lifelong career of public service because she endorses someone other than their candidate of the moment.

I don't think this is the future of the Democratic party. I think its a group of people looking for a cause to push who have latched on to Sanders as this year's pet cause and who know more about how to get in front of cameras, manipulate media, and call attention to themselves than they do about organizing and getting Sanders' programs implemented - which they deserve to be.

It's going to be a long time until November.

She laughed and she didn't back down. Perfect response from a great Senator.

Then I would have respected her. But to go off on Bernie supporters without acknowledging the problems of the NV convention and that there were legit concerns made her look like an angry and entitled partisan.

Everything about her statements was wrongly suited to the occasion.

I still like her, but she didn't understand the moment.

That's on her.

I'd like to say it's a learning opportunity, but I'm not sure the people in power are capable of learning at this late date.

I'm not silencing you or saying anything offensive. Just the way it is.

No clue what being "an actual Californian" has to do with it. I did get a chuckle. Thanks.

I don't get this place. I can think she made a shitty speech but still think she was a decent senator.

But whatever. Kamala on deck, yo.

Agree to that point. Never knew it was in contention.

"I don't get this place."

It's not that difficult to figure out. With anonymous posters it isn't to be "gotten" at all times.

there are much more fish to fry in this election than to make campaign issues out of what one voter someplace says or shouts, as if somehow that lone soul speaks for the entirety of Bernie supporters as well as the candidate himself. It's just more misdirection to keep the masses from talking of (a) issues, and (b) Democratic Party corruption.

103. Barbara Boxer's speech at the Nevada convention was

unintelligent and overly emotional.

I have always liked, supported and voted for her.

But hearing that speech, I lost confidence in her. She was carried away.

The convention in Nevada was poorly organized. When the votes are only 30 apart on a major issue, you do not hold a voice vote. You have to count the votes when the voters are that evenly divided.

Never saw such a poorly organized event.

The Hillary supporters in Nevada look like fools. And that includes Barbara Boxer.

Anyone with any experience in dealing with people or organizing could have done a better job.

After seeing the debacle at the Nevada convention, I question whether Hillary has the organizing ability and social skills to be president. She, after all, is responsible for giving guidance to her supporters in Nevada.

What a scene. It made all Democrats including both Barbara Boxer and Hillary look incompetent.

I'm a woman. I am not being sexist. If my daughters had been in charge, or if I had been in charge, or if my mother or sisters had been in charge, we would have met with people on the other side of the nomination fence and discussed how to hold a fair convention at which all opinions could be expressed.

That was a shameful show. A black eye for all Democrats but mostly for the Hillaryites who lead the show.

For shame.

I so think she was a little condescending to Bernie voters at the convention. HOWEVER, that in now way justifies the treatment she received, the booing but especially the misogynistic name calling. I know this doesn't represent the majority of Bernie supporters and we need to "purge" the misogynists from our movement.
