Bernie folks rushed stage, yelling obscenities, throwing chairs and bottles

https://twitter.com/RalstonReports/status/731892274464841729

Convention ended w/security shutting it down, Bernie folks rushed stage, yelling obscenities, throwing chairs. Unity Now! On to Philly 2/2

@atdleft @RalstonReports bottles were also thrown at the stage. Had to escort women out fearing 4 their life. This has no place in politics.

Seems the Democratic Party is resisting the inevitable change that is on its way.

The millennial love Bernie. Do those of us who love Bernie have to create our own party? Is that the message of the DNC?

Because io have been a Democrat all my 72 years, and I would hate to have to change, but Bernie is my candidate. Hillary is not.

delegates were even in the room. And as I heard it the voice vote was not a majority.

If Hillary really expects Bernie supporters to vote for her, she is going to have to control her representatives, delegates and machines at the state level.

I like the fact that Bernie has no machine. Sooner or later the Clinton machine will expose itself for what it is. I would like to think that the Democratic Party can survive that exposure.

And were massacred mostly by gunfire and bayonet from the revolutionary army in the countryside.

Lots of things Americans get wrong about the French Revolution, really. It started when the urban working class started to see the rural working class begin to catch up to them; even though the urban working class was doing (slightly) better than they were a decade before, they didn't like the peasants catching up with them.

Bernie tried to prevent it by using the political process for change but they couldn't even allow that without obvious cheating.

immature, no-nothings all riled up calling for a revolution. The political revolution he needed never showed up but his gang of followers did. He then claimed that he would take his fight all the way to the convention when he's known all along that he had no real path to victory but to try and get delegates to switch from Hillary to himself even if he were behind at the end by continuing to claim that he had the momentum. Instead what he had was a bunch of bullies.

He said in the Townhall Meeting with Chris Matthews last month that it was up to Hillary to convince his supporters to vote for her and then proceeded to give a long list of demands, that echoed his platform. That is not someone who ever planned on conceding that he had lost and she had won. Bernie is responsible for this mess that he caused. He knew what he was dealing with a long time ago. He's the one who gets these folks all riled up at his rallies and encourages that booing of Hillary. You can't throw gasoline on a fire and then claim no responsibility to the damage that results.
