movement, if it wasn't, then all dictators and totalitarian governments would never have anything to fear from the people.

I believe Kennedy's quote is right on target, in other words.

Why you jumped to the Sanders campaign is bizarre.

oh another miscue from both camp weathervane and her supporters. We will let you who aren't participating when the revolution is over. Again, for those quite thick , WE Will Let You Know When Our Movement (revolution) Is Over. Thank you in advance.

The mechanisms by which that consent might be withdrawn are:
1) elections
2) revolt

It may seem cute and clever at the time to simply refuse to honor the wishes of those participating in those elections. In that case, sidewalk chalk should be the least of your concerns.

I hope you take that in the kindness that was meant.

I have made a number of references to the fact we have so many people in this country and don't even have a damn pacifist, much less a dove, running for the Presidency. I think that is really messed up.

Yes, I get the irony of a Clinton supporter saying that.

At a certain point in my 4 years I became convinced that killing people based on some big shot's orders wasn't something I wanted to do when I realized that it was real people they were referring to. People I didn't know, had nothing against, and might even like as friends.

That's when I started questioning the purpose of killing and violence and found the answers disturbing.

Sometimes, when I tell people that I'm a pacifist I'm confronted with the "what if..?" questions. What if the Russians invaded America? What if a burglar was trying to rape your wife? etc. And, I give the only honest answer that anyone can give to a hypothetical. "I don't know."

“What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or in the holy of liberty or democracy?”
Mohandas K. Gandhi

I appreciate your kindness and take it in just that way.

Why is the abuse of women not at the top of these lists we're suddenly getting.

Remember, feminism?

It's that thing that gets thrown around when, I dunno, the sun rises in the East over a Hillary campaign.

Y'all want to go back and read about it or something

Like the military, I think all options should be left on the table for politics.

Dammit. Did I just say that. lol

Then again, I have also been known to support riots.
