(1,237 posts)Of some innocent person, who is now wondering why they're getting threatening call's from Hillary supporters.
nadinbrzezinski
(154,021 posts)for the record, that might be part of it... but the cops can actually trace the calls back. Some of the shit you learn covering courts, So they will know pretty fast. And if this is a fake phone, now you have more charges. And I hope this person files a nice police report if your theory is real.
.99center
(1,237 posts)But either way, no one deserves the type of harassment that's to come from posting it!

(154,021 posts)in my notes. And what I just did with the reverse searches, any idiot can... so fully agreed. The most you would with ethics and all that, is maybe the area code. You would redact the rest. Part of it... cops hate it when you do that. It increases their work load.

(9,086 posts)Know what I'm saying? Like somebody called and then left somebody else's phone number as a form of possibly framing or implicating that person, to get them in trouble.
I'm not sure publishing that is very responsible until it is confirmed that the phone number actually belongs to the caller, and not just someone the caller wants to divert attention toward.

(17,651 posts)And you can verify this exactly how?
Why don't you call him, nite? Ask him wtf he's so bloody irate about?
Someone with some gonads should interview him and get his story. He either has a really good one or he's pscyho.

(4,373 posts)He repeated the "Bernie supporters booed Nina Turner" meme despite the fact that Turner herself said they/we didn't.
He also keeps muttering about people throwing chairs, although I didn't see it, I haven't heard from anyone at the convention that it happened, nor have I seen it happen in the many videos posted about the end of the convention. I'm calling "no" on this Ralstonism.

(154,021 posts)Where do you think this call came from? I did know the phone area code like instantly. SAN DIEGO. I just did two reverse directory searches (and trust me, if there is a police report, the cops have even better tools, and no I am not paying the less than a dollar to actually get a name and address, not that interested)...
But... you are assuming this was a bernie supporter (implicit bias), I am waiting for the actual law enforcement report. Granted criminals who are caught are this stupid, but there are a few things that make my sixth sense go... I shall wait.
Now follow this please.
Somebody from San Diego placed the call, one of the two searches yielded Los Angeles, (tower was there, last call made by that cell phone)... how many agencies do you think are involved now? Assuming there is a police report.
Nevada State Patrol, since they were in the venue.
Las Vegas PD, it is their damn city.
Can you say Secret Service? I knew you could...both Bernie and HRC have that protection right now.
FBI.
US Marshalls
So how long do you think the US Marshalls will take to arrest the bright one who left a phone number? OF course I am assuming it is that simple and somebody did not copy a sim card, things like that.
I cover courts, and I learned a while ago that what seems to be logical... and makes all the sense in the world, many a times turns to be something else. For the record, whoever did this has committed a few felonies and deserves their day in court. Did I mention Federal Court? I thought it was relevant, Also for the moment, evidence and all, these are alleged crimes. Again that pesky.
synergie
(1,901 posts)is just silly. He's one of your own, why don't you call him up and ask him if he thinks this is appropriate adult behavior? He's pretty much par for the course here, angry, misogynistic and violent people who don't seem to understand what happened but are convinced they've somehow been wronged, and can't or won't figure out that's not true.
Violent revolution is not inevitable, you simple choose not to commit violence. That's a choice BSers seem to not be making. Violence is not the solution to not getting your own way, in defiance of the rules you don't understand.

(1,237 posts)Realize you may be putting an innocent person at risk.

(1,901 posts)who have been posting here and saying the exactly same things. Blaming others for being caught saying things that are acceptable and ubiquitous on this site, is a poor tactic.
I hope these people are held accountable for their cowardly threats.

I've just logged in to GDP a few minutes ago, and have already added four more yellow buttons (Hillary supporters) to my ignore list.

Oh wait so do Hillary supporters.

(1,237 posts)What are you hoping to achieve by posting his phone number?
Aerows
(39,961 posts)is against the rules, not to mention it could subject someone that is innocent to verbal abuse or worse. I recommend you edit out the number.

(1,237 posts)This person has been around long enough to know the consequences for posting the number. They want harassment against who ever is behind that number.

(587 posts)it is obvious the guy leaving this message is reading from a script. He pauses in the middle like he's looking for the next part of his tirade, and the emotion in the words just makes it obvious he's written this down in advance.
There's no way he is going to leave his own/real phone number. It would be interesting to know who the owner of the number is... but publishing the number is a mistake, unless the person publishing it has confirmed it belongs to the message leaver.
