2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumJust got my third or forth robo call from the GOP
Party in Gainesville, Fl. I called the Republican Headquarters and told them I received their call and I just voted for Obama. I was polite even though I really wanted to say what I thought.

(50,912 posts)Or ask them where you should vote. Do they provide rides. Who to call. Do the drivers provide ID? Are their drivers legal citizens? Should you bring your weapon?

(12,754 posts)But that only works if you get a real person. A lot of the robocalls I get are recordings.
I had one call from a GOP push poll. Every question they asked, I told them what I thought of the GOP and (at that time) Bush. I even told them I thought Bush should be tried as a war criminal.
Then, the woman said she had one more question. Would I be interested in volunteering at the local GOP headquarters. Obviously, she was a hired hand, because she started laughing halfway through the question. She realized it was absurd, but she had to go through her list.
I told her -- "Not if they held a gun to my head." She completely broke up.

(2,220 posts)Up to TEN times a day!!! They're all robocalls, and since I have caller ID, I never answer. This has been going on since Labor Day. I even got robocalled by Mitt and Ann...and they didn't even pronounce my name right. LOL!
I've only received 2 calls for Democratic candidates.
