2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumBernie Sanders' trip to Puerto Rico, why now?
Their primary is the June.
Did the trip help him avoid questions from mainland media about the Nevada chaos (including sexist shouting by supporters or apparent supporters) and Burlington College?

(19,877 posts)And he's welcome to spend it campaigning in Puerto Rico. That's what we gave it to him for.
Some of it is mine. And he can do whatever he wants with it.

(10,478 posts)I don't have Bernie's complete itinerary memorized like some do I'm sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's touched down everywhere at least once, and a "I campaigned in every single primary and caucus state/territory" final ad push is coming.

It doesn't give him much moral authority on the matter. Jane is his #1 surrogate, and this reflects poorly on Bernie whether it seems fair or not.
