So while she, and her supporters, may resent still having to pay attention to him, theyd better learn to swallow their disappointment."

(16,095 posts)I've been told time after time that Clinton doesn't need ANY of us dirty hippies who voted for Sanders.
We're "loony lefties" who don't belong in HER party.

Bettie
(16,095 posts)when were we supposed to have turned Republican?
Because I am pretty sure I've never even voted for one...
But, I guess not preferring Clinton is, in their eyes, the very same thing as adoring Trump.
There it is, it was a few weeks ago that we were "far left wing" and dirty hippies.

As for Sanders, he has every right, as Hillary Clinton said in 2008, to make sure the people who voted for me [are] respected and heard. Especially when he keeps winning the battle of ideas. Only last week Clinton abandoned her longstanding opposition to expanding Medicareand called for Obama to drop plans to push through the Trans-Pacific Partnership in the lame-duck session of Congress. Does anyone seriously believe either of those shifts would have happened if Sanders had quit?
Thanks for posting the article, tiredtoo!

Not many I hope.
Unless Bernie wins the nomination, which is possible.

(36,392 posts)Privilege is not worrying about the wars that Mrs Clinton will start or escalate. Privilege is being able to withstand cuts in social security. Privilege is being one of the people who will get rich when social security or education is privatized.
You can rest assured that most of the "privileged white people" will be voting for Clinton (or trump I guess)
