Klamath Falls ballot drop box vandalized, ballots found in dumpster

"KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.-- A Klamath Falls ballot box at the Klamath Basin Senior Center was broken into over the weekend and ballots were found in a nearby dumpster, according to a press release from the Klamath County Clerk.

The ballots will still be counted.

Voters concerned about their ballot can call 541-883-5134 to check their ballot's status. A replacement can be issued if it has not been received.

Tampering with ballots is a Class C felony. The press release says it appears to be an isolated incident."

Like I said from the start. This isn't about starting drama. Hopefully those affected will make the appropriate calls.
FYI this is in a supposedly Clinton stronghold so please don't make assumptions.

3. Without more, this sounds a bit off to me..."nearby dumpster" is a bit suspect to me...

where is the place one would look first to find stolen ballots...and what about the break-in itself? A Senior Center is not the first place thieves would look for valuable stuff.
