When I think back to Kerry vs. Bush, I remember wishing that Democrats would adopt GOP tactics, lie their asses off, and win at any cost. That whole swiftboating thing was very unpleasant, and Kerry lost because Bushco was able to successfully label him as a wimpy loser.

The problem with wishing for that? If Democrats act like Republicans, then they aren't Democrats anymore, and those of us loyal to the party and the platform have nowhere to go. I hate what I'm seeing within my party and what's coming from the leadership. I hate most of all what I'm seeing from Hillary's campaign and her surrogates. Maybe it will come in handy if she faces Trump in the GE but I don't want any part of that carnage.

Makes me sad and angry that we are here.
