I presume you totally missed the raging irony of your post, given McCarthy's signature line and how similar it is to what so many Clintonites have been saying.

"Senator Sanders, are you now or have you ever been a member of the Socialist Party?"

That's long been the common adjective

As for the point of your post, I'll forgo the time involved in digging up similar posts from Clintonites

6. "what so many Clintonites have been saying" - another typically McCarthyist baseless charge

what I and others have said is that is what the Repugnants will be saying if he were to be the nominee. Standard McCarthyist tactic

Note, 'McCarthyist' is an adjective, not the name of Joe McCarthy.)

check link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_McCarthy (please note spelling of the name)

Joseph McCarthy

Joseph Raymond "Joe" McCarthy (November 14, 1908 – May 2, 1957) was an American politician who served as a U.S. Senator from the state of Wisconsin from 1947 until his death in 1957. Beginning in 1950, McCarthy became the most visible public face of a period in which Cold War tensions fueled fears of widespread Communist subversion.[1] He was noted for making claims that there were large numbers of Communists and Soviet spies and sympathizers inside the United States federal government and elsewhere. Ultimately, his tactics and inability to substantiate his claims led him to be censured by the United States Senate.

2. Here is my take, 80% of Bernie supporters are like me, very liberal, very engaged

for a very long time, very concerned about civil rights and consider them more important than anything else for obvious reasons.

The other 20% are middle aged white middle class folks who care little about anything other than their pocketbooks. These will be the most vocal.

On the other side you have a DNC that cares nothing about Bernie supporters and proves that by appointing Barney Frank convention chair.

I am a big fan of Barney, but he has been overly critical of Bernie and should not have been appointed to this position at this time.
