I have a grown daughter there. I base my opinion on my visits to Oregon and my experiences with the people and the culture there.

There are huge numbers of them all over the country. And I seriously doubt that anybody who still hates the "counterculture" is going to agree with the Democratic Party on anything...people like that have been Republican ever since the civil rights bill finally passed in '64.

Bill Clinton never got votes from hippie haters, as far as that goes. Neither has HRC.
