Yes indeed, it is getting uglier by the minute...

(4,311 posts)This is a baaad news day for the Sanders campaign.

(9,841 posts)Going after Bernie and his supporters is the nuclear option, and they appear to have gone there. They are destroying the party in order to save Hillary.

(11,546 posts)they think it's "bad for Sanders" but what they don't realize is that WE, the Sander supporters and voters, are watching, recording, tweeting, FB, etc. ALL of it! It's a much, MUCH worse day for the Democratic party.

(17,064 posts)Sanders supporters are aware of Establishments actions...each day more and more vow Never Clinton. There's not going to be a rebuild bridges and make nice period...there's a permanent wedge driven between the traditional liberals and the RW corporatist hijackers.

They did make mention that 'there are no Sanders supports on the panel' which is usually the case for CBSN.
CBS is totally in the tank for clinton.

(3,733 posts)Some his followers finally got all the way over the line.
And in a very public way.
Bernie's response was tepid at best.
So far the press mostly gave him a free pass.
Looks like that's over.
Good thing he wasn't closer to actually being our nominee.
auntpurl
(4,311 posts)calling him a political terrorist is crazy IMO. His supporters who acted like vicious thugs? Sure. But Bernie himself? He had an opportunity to make a strong statement and he didn't, and that makes him complicit, but I would not call him a political terrorist by any stretch, and I think it's ridiculous to do so.
griffi94
(3,733 posts)They're always over the top.
Like I said, this is basically the definition of a "bad news day" for the Sanders campaign.

(38,465 posts)I don't care for puppies. My kids kept bringing them home, and I got to feed them and take them outside. I prefer little birds.
You evidently prefer wars of opportunity and global privatization of healthcare and retirement benefits. And continuous flip flops and walkbacks. $12 an hour? Not gonna happen.
Know your candidate, and keep your puppy. You'll need it when your Icon gets indicted.

Gunshots, Nazi references and physical violence.
So take your poutrage elsewhere.
dchill
(38,465 posts)Only Bernie and his supporters have to watch their tone. Evidently reference to gunplay, fisticuffs and Nazi name calling is being added to the "tone" meme. See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil - about Hillary and the Hillarians.

(2,074 posts)Bernie's response to NV has once again exposed him as weak. He has confirmed the impression I got of him after datagate (which is when I ceased being neutral and chose against Bernie). His supporters' behavior in NV was reprehensible, and his response to it was sad.
But to call him a political terrorist is unnecessary and absurd.
