(110,159 posts)* Based on the county convention results, Bernie Sanders had 2,124 delegate slots to the State Convention and Hillary Clinton had 1,722 delegate slots to the State Convention.
* On Saturday at the State Convention, after all of the alternates were seated, Hillary Clinton filled 1,695 of her delegate slots and Bernie Sanders only filled 1,662 at the State Convention giving Clinton a 33-delegate margin of victory.
* Clinton only had 27 delegate positions vacant on Saturday. Sanders left 462 vacant. Clinton filled 98 percent of her available delegate slots at the State Convention, and Sanders only filled 78 percent of his available delegate slots.
* In plain terms, the Clinton campaign organized and got nearly all of their delegates to the State Convention. The Sanders campaign did not.
* The remaining potential delegates were ineligible for two main reasons: 1) They were not registered Democratic voters in Nevada by May 1, 2016, and 2) Their information such as address, date of birth and name could not be found or identified, and they did not respond to requests from the party and campaigns to correct it.
* Only eight of the ineligible delegates even attempted to register at the State Convention.
* The so-called minority report about these ineligible delegates was not written by the Credentials Committee it was written by national Sanders campaign staff on site. A member of Sanders National Delegate Operations Team drafted and arranged for a member of that committee to attempt to deliver an incendiary report that caused chaos and violence at the convention. It was inaccurate, misleading and subsequently discredited by the Credentials Committee.
* The Credentials Committee, the panel that made decisions on these issues, was co-chaired by supporters of both campaigns and the membership of the committee was also equally divided between supporters of both campaigns. This was done to ensure that the entire process was fair, transparent and accountable for both campaigns and their supporters. The committee worked diligently and cooperatively all day, under incredibly trying circumstances, to be fair and impartial in its work.

(1,235 posts)Everything you posted there were things CLAIMED but no evidence provided.
And let's keep in mind that the people making this claim are the same people who falsely claimed there was chair throwing and violence (well there was, but it was a Hillary supporter who beat up a couple of Sanders supporters (one of them being a woman.)

(1,473 posts)He lost even more tonight.
Smile and be happy. Hillary's doing great!
We both know if any Hillary supporter picked up a chair and even pretended to throw it (which this guy had to be talked out of it) Most of the Fanatic Sanders supporters would be throwing a conniption. They throw conniptions over stuff they make up on a daily basis," proof" that is innuendo and conjecture.
They don't care about their behavior. Let them rage. Let them eat themselves up. Because that's the only place this s going. HC just won Kentucky and will in all likelihood will win Oregon, either way Sanders' campaign is kaput.

(110,159 posts)When do we find out about Oregon.
Thanks Puffy.
A story is told. Then when ones looks at the facts? Well, the story is 180. We get that a lot with the Sanders campaign. Had it with Bushco too.

(3,687 posts)Go listen to the 2 eyewitness guests Hartmann had on today get the pod cast.
One of them had her father there (he is a Clinton supporter and a former SUper Delegate) He tore up his ballot and left because he was so disgusted the DNC crap that happened.
THis is about Lying about Bernies supporters negatively enough to 'justify' keeping them out of the convention.
THis is really bullshit

Hartmann had 2 eye witnesses on the show today
You can get the podcast and hear it.
Basically This is an attempt to swiftboat Bernies supporters to keep them out of the convention
One of the guests is DNC (and a Bernie Supporter) and she told the story of her father, also there, and a Clinton Supporter and a former Super Delegate who tore up his ballot and left because of the Crap that the Nevada Chair and Party was pulling
BOth guests said the convention was rigged and there was no violence.

(2,064 posts)This was never going to bd left up to the voters. Anyone who thinks the playing field was level is crazy. Yet even with all of her filthy dirty corporate blood money and having her people on the controls of al party operations, she has struggled to put away a senior senator who was a reluctant candidate and who had no control over the Party's operation.
Rather than telling her opponent to stand down, she should reach out and try to rmend fences with progressive leaders and voters. But they are looking to purge us from the party since we refuse to submit to their corporate masters.
felix_numinous
(5,198 posts)change their tune one molecule to serve the people. They have made that very clear. A tiny bone now and then, lots of showmanship, and the beat goes on and on.
I want to have hope there are enough honest people in the FBI and lawyers who will advocate for all the screwed voters and delegates to just crack the door open enough that Progressives can move this country forward.
