(25,586 posts)I read her ad buy was like $175 grand. A pittance. That wouldn't buy the ad space on the rearview mirror of a Formula 1 car.

(24,544 posts)Every single analysis available has said that Bernie needs colossal, massive blow out wins in every single state from here on out to stay even remotely viable. Not only did he not get a massive blow out, he LOST in a state whose demographics should have been custom made and tailored for a Sanders victory.
And yet, his supporters are somehow "celebrating" this loss. That's totally believable and doesn't look even remotely pitiful at all.

(3,040 posts)isn't Hillary supposed to dominate? There is obviously a lack of front runner enthusiastic support for Hillary here. While Hillary may have more votes, her likely victory isn't enough for her to gain momentum. Isn't that worrisome to you?

(2,096 posts)Yes! I know you shouldn't be happy when you lose but this is actually the happiest I've been with a loss. It's my state and I really didn't think we would be this close. It was a closed primary and they have spent a lot of time & money here. I was really bracing for a bigger loss but this....Wow. I'm good with it. This is one of those unusual moments when I'd rather be on the losing side than the winning side for what the nature of the win says about the candidate and what the loss says.

(2,096 posts)the only thing I didn't like was that my home county went for Hillary. That's a bit of a downer but the entire election result helps with that.

(11,949 posts)When you are celebrating a loss.
Hell, I like Bernie and would be happy to have him as our candidate. Do not fool yourselves, there are actually a lot of Democrats who are not in love with either candidate but will support anyone over Trump.
But it is reaching the point that Bernie may be costing more than he is adding. And he has added a tremendous amount. Without him there would be no discussion about Banks or wealth distribution.
Unless you think for some reason Trump is preferable to Clinton, then it is approaching the time to admit the inevitable.

(17,064 posts)Now Hillary barely pulls 50% of the registered Democrats. Wow. Make that an open primary like a GE would be, and she's losing 35-65. Down-ticket candidates probably getting REALLY worried about a bloodbath with her atop the ballot.
