'Despite being dismissed by the media, told by leading Democrats he should exit the race, opposed and outflanked by the Democratic National Committee, and out-funded by big-money donors, Senator Bernie Sanders won the Oregon primary and virtually tied Hillary Clinton in Kentucky, which she had won in a landslide against Barack Obama in 2008. (She's claiming victory but the returns right now show a tie.) That’s on top of his victories in West Virginia last week and Indiana the week before.

Bernie is still on a roll.

Yes, Clinton has overwhelming support from super delegates (the party leaders who can vote as they wish) and the media assumes she has the nomination cinched. But don’t count Bernie out. His continued surge says a lot about what this country wants and needs – a system not rigged in favor of the moneyed interests, with a growing rather than a shrinking middle class, with equal opportunity for everyone. And Americans are still determined to get it.

What do you think?'
