2. Why WASTE your vote? Make ZERO sense.

3. I mean, in a primary, I think people should vote for who they want.

A vote for Bernie Sanders is a "wasted" vote by that metric. But you know, a lot of people want to vote their conscience in the primary and then vote for the winner in the GE (outside the seething lunacy of DU, I mean). I'm a Hillary supporter, but I can understand that.

5. Protest vote.

I caucused for Edwards because I didn't prefer either Obama or Clinton.

Of course I voted for our eventual nominee.

But I can still say "I didn't vote for that guy! (Or gal.)" Like I'm doing now.

7. It's reasonable to want to encourage O'Malley for the future.

DUers on both sides of the Clinton-Sanders divide have written positively about O'Malley and expressed the hope that he'll run again. If he gets at least a few votes now, it might have a positive effect.
