banana republics and a Clinton presidency.

http://www.nakedcapitalism.com/2016/05/after-distancing-herself-from-bill-clintons-economic-policies-hillary-wants-him-as-mr-economic-fix-it.html

fter having institutionalized the neoliberal economic policies that have enriched the 1% and particularly the 0.1% at the expense of everyone else, Hillary Clinton wants to give the long-suffering citizenry an even bigger dose. As she said in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky:

My husband, who I’m going to put in charge of revitalising the economy, because you know he knows how to do it,” Clinton said in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, on Sunday. And especially in places like coal country and inner cities and other parts of our country that have really been left out.

This plan is revealing, and in not a good way.
.
There Goes Hillary as “Most Qualified Candidate Evah” . Since when does a supposedly super competent elected official use their spouse in a policy design and implementation capacity outside of existing bureaucratic role and capacities? In banana republics and the Clinton presidency.

And remember how well that co-presidency thingie worked out? Hillary’s big special project, health care reform, was such a bomb that it was over 20 years before the idea could be revived. And after that debacle, she retreated from taking on high-profile tasks and moved in the direction of a more traditional First Lady role.

bill is more competent and less abrasive than Hillary, so he might indeed do a better job as "co-President" than Hillary did with health care reform.

However, the role of FLOTUS or FGOTUS is not very well defined in terms of actual policy items and even Bill might find it difficult to get anything real accomplished dealing with a Congress that previously impeached him.

4. most of that congressional committee moved along due to sex scandals of their own

"Impeachment proceedings were initiated during the post-election, "lame duck" session of the outgoing 105th United States Congress. The committee hearings were perfunctory, but the floor debate in the whole House was spirited on both sides. The Speaker-designate, Representative Bob Livingston, chosen by the Republican Party Conference to replace Gingrich as House Speaker, announced the end of his candidacy for Speaker and his resignation from Congress from the floor of the House after his own marital infidelity came to light.[15] In the same speech, Livingston also encouraged Clinton to resign. Clinton chose to remain in office and urged Livingston to reconsider his resignation.[16] Many other prominent Republican members of Congress (including Dan Burton[15] of Indiana; Helen Chenoweth[15] of Idaho; and Henry Hyde[15] of Illinois, the chief House manager of Clinton's trial in the Senate) had infidelities exposed around this time, all of whom voted for impeachment. Publisher Larry Flynt offered a reward for such information and many supporters of Clinton accused Republicans of hypocrisy.[15]"

of course, they may not have been flying around with a child molester on his sex plane for the last decade or more.
the obstacles between the Clinton's and their second occupancy are substantial. but dont let that mess up a good primary.

no matter what... they hate the clintons. So it does no good for Hillary to tout her husband as the economy czar or whatever role she tried to define for him.

I see no differences in the efficacy of a corrupt legislative branch regardless of who or what their excuse is.
gridlock is just their way of keeping the status quo warm and comfy.
all the bullshit is just their way of doing their job.

Peace time prez? Really? Do you remember Bosnia? That was the first crack at the 'horn of africa' in the PNAC!

Also, Clinton hired DynCorp as contractors back then, and they were caught trafficking women and CHILDREN FOR SEX. What happened?

Nothing.

Just a couple of years ago, TIME magazine had a cover, "The Boys of Afghanistan"....the boy sex ring run by 'DynCorp'. What happened?

Nothing!

Now, Obama has just given DynCorp ANOTHER FUCKING CONTRACT!

Why? Cuz trafficking dollars now surpass cocaine trafficking! This is just about money! I want this shit to stop....and Bernie Sanders knows about this shit, and says we have many contractors to choose from. Good. None of this will change with the Clintons.

The Foundation won't have to pay for it.

I see right through this. They take and take and take.

I'm sick of it.
