And that ain't the fault of Bernie and his supporters.
Yes, I know she'll be the nominee. My point is that she's a weak candidate independent from Bernie.
In fact, she's such a weak candidate that I understand why she and the democratic establishment are desperate to get Bernie out before CA.
Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton would squeak past Donald Trump in New Hampshire if the general presidential election happened today, according to a new poll.
Clinton leads Trump, 42 to 40 percent, in the WBUR survey released Wednesday. Six percent would prefer another candidate, while 9 percent do not know or are undecided.
Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, faces a more daunting challenge in New Hampshire if Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) ultimately becomes the Democratic presidential nominee.
Sanders leads Trump by 17 points in that scenario, 53 to 36 percent. Four percent would prefer another candidate, while 6 percent do not know or are undecided.
Wednesdays results also show that Clinton and Trump are viewed unfavorably by a majority of likely New Hampshire voters.

(68,556 posts)Bernie has been double teaming Hillary with the Donald. No doubt this constant negative crap he throws at Clinton echoed by Trump or vice verse takes a toll. This is akin to someone killing their parents and then asking for mercy because they are orphans...he caused is causing such polls. Luckily early polls are meaningless...once we kick him to the curb all will be well.

(111,090 posts)Because, if Bernie were attacked to the same degree as Hillary, I think his polls would be much lower. Just my opinion.

(24 posts)I've heard it said that if you're for Bernie, you don't care if Trump beats Hillary.
I think the super delegates, especially the lobbyists for birds corporations, MIC and pharma, don't seem to care that Trump will beat Hillary.
Don't blame me if Trump wins. I support the much stronger Democratic challenger. That's clearly Bernie.

(3,072 posts)Obama only won it by a few points in 2012. It leans dem these days but there are still a lot of republicans there. There were many points in 2012 where Romney was ahead, even by double digits

(3,072 posts)I saw WBUR had a new Hampshire poll out today. I don't think a local new station has the means to do a nationwide poll too.
