Hillary Clinton won just 1 Oregon county -- by 1 vote

In my state, this is the story today:

Hillary Clinton won just 1 Oregon county -- by 1 vote
Betsy Hammond | The Oregonian/OregonLive May 18, 2016 at 8:58 AM

As early-morning vote tallies roll in, results of Oregon's Democratic presidential primary paint a sobering picture for national Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton -- she won just one Oregon county, and won it by just one vote.

The tally from Gilliam County: Bernie Sanders 100, Clinton 101.

Sanders proved transcendent, winning all 35 other counties. With at least 85 percent of primary votes tallied, Sanders stomped Clinton in Oregon: 55 percent to 44 percent.

So much for the only statewide poll, conducted by DHM Research for public broadcasting superstar OPB. It predicted Clinton would win by 15 percentage points. How wrong can a pollster be?

They can vote for Bernie if registered as "NPP" (no party preference) but NOT as indies.

Chances are if your an independent in California what your actually registerred for is the American Independence Party. If you are, congratulations, you belong to an anti immigration, anti-abortion segragationalist party. If your registerred for non-party preference your okay

100 percent.

No polling places.

Very little "physical turnout" -- except for the last few days of ballot dropping off.

Then there is that issue of Las Vegas to Reno to Pocatello becoming beachfront property after the next earthquake. We do have our own issues to deal with in Texas, but I'm happy to be on solid ground with no volcanoes nearby.

We recalled our previously popular Dem governor and elected freaking Arnold Schwarzenegger because Enron told us to. We gave the world Nixon and Reagan! People in CA love big names and celebrity, and many people here are a lot more conservative than the stereotypes would have you believe. CA was ground zero of the tax revolt movement.

And we're not a majority white state like Washington or Oregon. Our population is under 40% non-hispanic white vs. over 70% for WA and OR. The demographics really don't favor Sanders.

And incidentally we've had two women representing us in the Senate for the past 24 years, both of whom have endorsed Clinton.

according to the voters. But, the voters like Bernie's ideas better, that much is certain. We will be getting a progressive platform this time, and the voters will like that in November too.
