Hillary and Bill Clinton Made $6.7 Million From Speeches in 2015

Hillary and Bill Clinton raked in a combined $6.725 million in paid speeches in 2015, a decrease from the year before, according to a personal financial disclosure form released late Tuesday night.

As a presidential candidate, Clinton has come under fire for paid speeches she gave, particularly to big banks and Wall Street, after leaving the State Department. Her Democratic opponent, Bernie Sanders, and his supporters have called on her to release the transcripts of these speeches, which she has thus far refused to do.

It's a big ego-boost for any convention or conference to have one of them as a keynote speaker, and that means they can command pretty good fees.

The are paid to talk about their life experiences. the more interesting those experiences, the more they are paid. The more high profile those experiences, the more they are paid. Rarely do they ever speak about the business of the groups they speak to.

What more proof do you need?

Repeal Glass Steagall and get millions from UBS?

Help get 52,000 Americans with offshore accounts at UBS off the hook?

Have enough money to say you don't need anymore to clients in UBS Wealth Management?

Now we call it business as usual. The wealthy pay exorbitant amounts for an uninspired speech from a politician. Nothing is directly promised because both politician and business person are aware of the deal.

No bribes here, just speaking about life experiences to a very receptive audience who, of course, expect absolutely nothing in return.

Can you say NAFTA?
Can you say Gramm, Leach, Blily?
Can you say "welfare reform"?
Can you say "prison reform"?
Can you say TPP?
