(85,977 posts)...you're lucky this isn't locked. You couldn't get anyone here to cheer on the identical thread you just posted so you're doubling down with this shit-stirring bull.
Stop attacking our Democrats, and you can go kick sand telling us that you know how Sen. Boxer felt from that video. This is a despicable effort which does not deserve a platform here at DU.

ALERTER'S COMMENTS
Over the top.
You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Thu May 19, 2016, 06:50 PM, and the Jury voted 3-4 to LEAVE IT.
Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #3 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Agree
Juror #4 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: tired of 'paid operative' accusations. How hard is it to imagine that other people feel as strongly about their beliefs as you do about yours? This should be basic knowledge about your fellow humans, people.
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Calling a long-time fellow DUer a paid operative? Way, way, way "over the top."
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: http://correctrecord.org/barrier-breakers-2016-a-project-of-correct-the-record/
It's not over the top when her PAC is definitely hiring trolls.
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future.

(84,711 posts)when she challenged Bernie to bring it on?
I clearly heard "I Grew up in Brooklyn" and her follow up about knowing how to fight...to challenge Bernie (I guess to a street brawl) but don't have the exact quote for the rest of it but what I heard was what I just posted.
So sad about BB....and those Roses that DU sent her for being with John Conyers in the Basement Hearings (which they were pushed down to) to discuss "Voter Disenfranchisement" after Kerry lost in 2014 due to Ohio Screw Up.
She was sent Roses because she was a HERO to those of us on the Left...at that time.

(10,493 posts)Truly a shameful what she did. From her words to her actions, she lost all respect from me. So much more she could have done to address the situation, to be a leader when needed. Instead, she provoked the crowd, and fanned the flames. What a terrible way to put a light out on ones legacy. Just not the way I wanted to remember her. Shameful.

Repeating the Hillary/Brock/DWS line of slime doesn't make you look informed or anything approaching rational but hey, we should all unite behind Hills....not on your life. People have seen the ugly behind the carefully constructed curtain of the Third Way and we want NOTHING to do with it. It's bad for the country, bad for the people and bad for the planet.

All the people it's just too unpleasant to have in my life, the malice-mongers, anti-Democrats, liars, and people just too determinedly ignorant to be able to converse with--poof!
It's addictive. DU is already a wonderful new place full of generally decent knowledgeable people discussing politics.

(644 posts)It was a mistake to open her speech as if it were going to support Bernie, then suddenly switch to saying "Yea for Hillary, she won!"
This is either simple human error or intentionally poking the audience with a stick. I'm still perplexed. It is as if she was a first-rate actor trying to perform a lousy script that she didn't write. You've seen this kind of thing before, it leaves the audience scratching their heads.

(24,010 posts)It's too dark. Her kisses thrown to the crowd could be nervousness. She appears to be surrounded with police or protective escorts. I can't really tell. And I can't see her face at all clearly.
So, in judging her behavior, I have to go back to what she did, which was to endorse a very unfair proceeding and to endorse Clinton to an audience of Sanders supporters who were incensed at the unfairness of the chair.
Given what followed in the Corrupt Media--and given its timing, portraying Sanders supporters as violent throughout the Corrupt Media as voters were voting in Kentucky and Oregon--my conclusion is that Boxer participated in a deliberate provocation, a "swift-boating" of Sanders to influence those primaries in particular and the other remaining primaries, particularly California, in Clinton's favor.
There are many things Boxer could have done to NOT be provocative, and to be a good leader as well. She could have gone to the state party officials and insisted on a fair proceeding. There were only a couple of delegates at issue anyway. It was not worth this fracas, to the Clinton campaign, if what the Clinton campaign wanted was fairness and outreach to Sanders Democrats. This was unnecessary unfairness. Why would they do that, except in the hope of making people very angry, and being able to sell a tall tale of Sanders' "violent" supporters to the Corrupt Media (which itself has been bent on evicting Sanders from U.S. political life from the day he announced his campaign).
Another thing she could have done was to NOT speak in these circumstances. Why was her speech for Clinton necessary, with so many people furious at the proceedings?
Why didn't she take their anger seriously and address it honestly? Why didn't she lend her podium to Sanders' delegate representatives, who had been silenced by the chair? Or, alternatively, why didn't she asked for peace negotiations, and lead them?
Naw, she was in on it. And it is to her great discredit. She now joins John Lewis and Dolores Huerta as fallen heroes. It is appalling how effective the Clinton machine has been at drawing people I once admired into its corrupt milieu.
