"Eyeing Senate, Clinton directing money to 2016 battlegrounds" - Presumptuous?

No wonder Bernie has been owning Hillary as of late. Hillary is acting as though she has in the bag, trying to raise money for Democrats to win back the Senate, while Bernie is pounding the pavement going to work winning with his attacks on the Clinton empire. Well, I am sure President Bernie will thank Hillary for her efforts next year.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Hillary Clinton, seeking a governing coalition if she wins the White House, is pumping millions of dollars into key battleground states at the heart of her presidential map and Democrats' quest to regain control of the Senate.

The Democratic National Committee and state parties are spending about $2 million initially to build coordinated campaigns in eight battleground states with competitive Senate races. The money is being raised by Clinton's campaign through her Hillary Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee that allows Clinton to raise large checks of more than $350,000 from wealthy donors.

Democrats say the coordinated effort, now a staple in presidential campaigns, will try to build up the party's network of field organizers earlier in the election and work more closely with Senate, House and state and local campaigns than in previous election cycles.

The fortunes of Clinton and the Democratic Senate candidates are tightly wound. Democrats need a net gain of five seats to recapture control of the Senate, which could be pivotal for Clinton to move her agenda through Congress if she wins the White House. And many Senate candidates could see their futures shaped by Clinton's performance.

Had Bernie done some planning ahead
maybe he wouldn't have gone tharn during his
interview with the NY Daily News.

I think she wants to get her judges thru and her policies passed
and a Democratic senate will really help both of those.

Maybe Bernie can yell 1% Wall Street Billionaires a few more times.

I'm sure that will make a difference.

and back into her own campaign, or is she actually letting some money, um, trickle down to the state parties this time?

To get things accomplished you need support to get liberal judges in SCOTUS. Talk without the Senate is a hollow victory. Hillary has the votes to win. She has turned to the general. Trump is using all Bernie's talking points. If Trump wins it will be from damage to Hillary now.

Hardly.

Smart? Very.

But it's all in vain - everyone knows the SDs are going to hand Bernie the nomination on the Convention floor.

12. Winning the presidency without the Senate means continuous stalemates

See, for example, the current situation: dozens of court appointments are in limbo because the Senate, wanting to spite Obama, is ignoring them.

"Those mean old Republicans just won't let me push my agenda, whatever that is!"

But she will compromise to get things done.

And every year that had passed since, through both her own experience and President Obama's.

I don't think anyone has ever been more prepared to run for president.
