1. For people who grew up in the 60s, she was a goddess.

2. PBS has done several programs about the folk movement of that era and she's in pretty much all of

them. In the program about Bob Dylan, he said something like she had blown his mind in many ways. So interesting. I loved the one about Seeger especially. While watching it, I fell in love with a 90+ year old married man! (Both he and his wonderful wife were alive when I saw it.)
