2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumSanders has won 68.23% of 39,710 Oregon votes counted so far since media stopped updating results
The "final" tally according to every major media outlet is:
Sanders 320,7046 (56.03%)
Clinton 251,739 (43.97%)
That's a nice 12.06% margin of victory for Sanders.
Since those results were posted, a few Oregon counties have updated their results, with more updates pending.
Specifically, these following counties have to date reported the following adjustments from the readily available results:
Clackamas County: +1602 Sanders, +927 Clinton
Clatsop County: +82 Sanders, +34 Clinton
Lane County: +1117 Sanders, +644 Clinton
Multnomah County: +22,053 Sanders, +9,901 Clinton
Union County: +62 Sanders, +33 Clinton
Washington County: +2010 Sanders, +1016 Clinton
Yamhill County: +169 Sanders, +60 Clinton
Total adjustments so far: +27,095 (68.23%) Sanders, +12,615 (31.77%) Clinton
Most Recent Updated Results Currently Available
Sanders 347,841 (56.82%)
Clinton 264,352 (43.18%)
That's a resounding 13.64% margin in a closed primary and counting ...
And that's after the corporate media declared a 24/7 war of blatant falsehoods on Sanders and his supporters. And there is no reason to believe that this margin will not keep growing as more updated results are reported.

(10,786 posts)It reports:
Hillary Clinton 263,347 42.52%
Bernie Sanders 345,890 55.85%
Write-in Votes 10,067 1.63%
The most current county reported results are:
Hillary Clinton 264,354
Bernie Sanders 347,841
I did not include write in votes in my updated results
If we use the SOS's currently reported number of write in votes:
Hillary Clinton 263,347 42.48%
Bernie Sanders 345,890 55.90%
Write-in Votes 10,067 1.62%
That's a 13.42% margin when you include write-in votes and a 13.64% margin when you do not. And growing daily. Maybe the Oregon's SoS's site will be caught up tomorrow.

(10,786 posts)Or is it 3 million voting machine +1s?
Because Sanders is killing Clinton anywhere votes are still counted by hand.

(10,786 posts)Do you realize how demeaning Clinton's doomed coronation is to anybody who is not comfortable with oligarchy?
Do you realize how stupid it is to trust black box voting machines, regardless of whether they are are rigging the vote in this specific nomination cycle?
Do you realize how difficult it is for a candidate who honestly and sincerely wants top help the bottom 99% to run against a celebrity member of political dynasty who has everybody in the top 0.1%, including everybody at Comcast and Time Warner, on speed deal?

(10,786 posts)It's completely insane to think the rich and powerful would ever think to work together to enrich themselves further and/or consolidate or extend their power. That would by definition be a CONSPIRACY, and Lord knows that your aunt has never seen or heard of a single one of those!

(761 posts)The post to which I replied mentioned the oft-cited 3 million vote advantage Clinton holds over Bernie. Exit polls have consistently been off always in favor of Hillary, sometimes radically off. Curiously, the exit polls in the GOP primary have been spot on.

Now we're back to being irrelevant shack-dwellers or right-wingers or some shit. I could have told you Sanders would pull off a solid win in OR.

Poll: Despite Bernie Sanders' Crowds, Hillary Clinton Ahead In Oregon--48-33

New Poll Out of Oregon; Hillary up 15, 48-33 ..Hoping both dreams comes true for us..yikes
A bombshell to close out your weekend in style: Hillary up fifteen in Oregon.
Assuming Sanders loses Oregon by these margins, he would have to win all remaining primaries by ~ 70% to 30%, a vote share he has not reached outside of his home state of Vermont and that is not evident in the polling we have of the contests to come. All things are possible under heaven, this precise eventuality however strikes me at least as somewhat unlikely to occur.

The comments are even better 'it's a closed Primary so she wins!!!'
Current count is 56% Sanders, 44% Clinton, about 5% still out and trending heavily Bernie of course. That poll was off by 23 points for Bernie. 23 points. Margin of error deluxe!
