#berniesobroke. $6M cash on hand. No wonder he's laying people off left and right. (Original Post) YouDig May 2016 OP
When he ends his campaign in debt HRC should help him retire it in the name of party unity. DemocratSinceBirth May 2016 #1

That's a good point. He doesn't need to save up now, and Hillary will help with outstanding debt. YouDig May 2016 #5

We have known about his level of cash bern. It's understandably been a necessity for his campaign. At this point he has zero need to hold a dime. Weaver is also well aware that others will cover their debts.

You are a very fair and even-handed poster here, I've noticed. Good for you not getting caught up in the partisan bickering and keeping your head cool in this heated environment.

I have dished out some unfair treatment. Sometimes it's simply fun. Lol.

But the cash bern has been a necessity and his current state of financials is very positive for Clinton. Both candidates supporters are going to pay down his debt. It might be very significant once they have time to address all of their regulatory issues. Lots of money he is currently spending was collected outside of campaign finance law.

Yeah, sparring on the internet can be fun. But ideally it's supposed to be a venue for honest intellectual exchange, so good for you for keeping it real.

Obviously, I'm a Hillary partisan, but like all partisans here, I'm also a person too and if me and the most ardent Bernie person went out for a beer in real life, I bet we'd get along fine. Something about the internet.

Yeah, in terms of debt, Hillary will help him out, because in the end she needs him. I don't know how much of the funds he raised that he will have to forfeit, but the FEC seems serious about it.
