if you were really really rich, and you could buy the primary for your candidate

would you?

obviously you cant, because plenty of money is being tossed at both candidates with interesting results.

but say you could buy most of the cable companies and direct their content in your favor?
would you?

what if you could control the debates and maybe people wouldnt notice the questions not being asked.
would you?

but if the opponent is just too horrible to imagine...I would be tempted.
If I thought it meant I could prevent a Hitler.
But the truth is we don't know what the future holds...
and every action has unintended consequences even if it was done for the 'best of reasons'.

It's a good point, but you still need a majority leader (2 would be better) and a president to get anything done. Those 3 people can make things happen.
