I think Sanders has already crossed that line--!!
Sanders is so controlled by his big ego at the point, I do not know if he realizes what he is doing--with his hits on Hillary and his Party

Sanders should stop attacking Clinton
By Brent Budowsky, columnist, The Hill
Few national columnists in the mainstream media have been more fair and friendly to Sen. Bernie Sanders (Vt.), his campaign, and the progressive populist agenda he proposes (most of which I agree with and hope Democrats will adopt), than me.
At the same time, the presidential campaign has reached a crucial stage and there is growing unease in many Democratic circles this includes a growing number of progressives, such as me that Sanders is close to reaching a line he does not want to cross, which would help presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump and hurt progressives running for the House and Senate in the general election.
The Hill recently published a story, which is correct, that includes a number of progressives who are concerned that Sanders may be going too far in criticizing Clinton. I hope that Sanders and his campaign staff, who are aware of my views, take this to heart.
From my perspective, the best case would be that Sanders continues his campaign through the primaries, stops all attacks against likely Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, concentrates his fire against Trump, and continues to promote his progressive and populist policies and calls for reform of the Democratic Party.................

(1,820 posts)I really don't and I listen. He mostly talks about US, justice, fair play. Please give me some evidence of his critizing Clinton!
Continuing his campaign is not criticism. Clinton did it against President Obama. No harm no foul!

(1,820 posts)It was the DNC that choose to run a candidate so strongly disliked, not Bernie's. Truth is truth my friend!

(13,101 posts)He was respectful, as always.
When he was asked about DWS being the head of the DNC
he stated he knows her, he likes her, but she is not right for the Democratic Party.
He does not attack Hillary.
He sticks to the issues that are important to him and those who support him.
He points out the many differences and that is not attacking.
Bernie is a man of integrity.
He has earned my trust.
He has earned my respect.
He has earned my admiration.
I am against Free Trade but support Fair Trade.
I am against the Patriot Act.
I was against the Iraq War.
I was against bailing out the banks.
I was for bailing out the auto industry.
I think the U.S. government has failed the citizenry of this country.

(4,213 posts)Her favorability ratings keep dropping and that doesn't help down ticket Dem's. Alienating Sanders voters who will simply vote third party or stay at home isn't helping down ticket Dems. Continual lies don't help down ticket Dems.
This is laughable if she thinks that with Bernie out of the race that the GOP will back off. When Bernie is finally out of the race, the onslaught is going to really begin. The heat hasn't even begun yet. Bernie gave her a pass on the emails which the GOP won't, and didn't really attack her foreign policy like he could have. Get ready folks. Going to be a bumpy General election.

(1,732 posts)If she's the nominee, she will depress the independent vote which will most certainly hurt down ticket Dems. I certainly won't show up to vote for her, or anyone who supports her. I know many others who feel the same. If she runs to the center/right, as we all know she will, she only has herself to blame.
