Sanders supporters "want their party back".

A lot of people "want" something "back" this cycle. I leave it to you to find the commonality. His campaign is the expression of that on the Left. It is what it is.

It was never about Sanders, or even policies. It was about bringing back a time people think they remember.

In the interim, searching Google for

"rainbow oligarchy" site:democraticunderground.com

should have the exact same result as the DU site search (which is just a re-branded Google, anyways).

which has been subverted and watered down by corrupt politicians. Watered down so much that TBTF banks can rig markets and lie to their customers only to receive a fine that cuts into their profits.

It's about much more than that as well but to make these absurd claims that it's motivated by race is rather disgusting.

Please quit doubling and tripling down on your rude and unsubstantiated claims of racism.

I thought this was the part of the evening where we just vacuously accuse other people of calling us racist, like you did to me.

If you read my post and thought that meant "racism", oy... you've got a lot of reading to do. I can recommend some starting points if you want.

The F-35 was gonna get built, with or without Sen. Sanders. We have no replacements for the F-16 Falcon, A-10 Warthog, AV-8 Harrier, nor F-18 Hornet.

I think it's a boondoggle, BTW. DoD tried to kill too many birds with one stone here. We are stuck with the F-35 for the foreseeable future. Hopefully, it will be able to fulfill its mission roles in the future.

By the way, Hillary Clinton was out there striking deals to sell the F-35 to other countries. So what candidate has the advantage here? Why didn't the author of your piece mention that Sec. Clinton was a salesperson for the F-35 in her role under President Obama?

Iraq is the only military vote that matters to anyone, despite the fact that Bernie has supported intervention in numerous places, as well as voting for the resolution DONALD RUMSFELD wrote making regime change in Iraq the official policy of the US. Bernie's done a very good job of making sure no one knows his true past.

by the right wing, and no doubt all kinds of preliminary strategies for using some of the most useful stuff have been drawn up, just in case.

The Clinton campaign also undoubtedly knows everything that can be turned up legally (in comparison to the massive, anonymous resources of the right), but the presidency isn't won by running backwards throwing mud at trailing candidates.

Bernie didn't vote for the IWR but he sure isn't going to turn his back on the Americans that are there.

Shameful. And sickening.
