(3,373 posts)You wonder why 71% of registered voters say Hillary will say ANYTHING to win? This is a good example.

(2,353 posts)When exposed to the full electorate she is a joke of a candidate. Bernie creamed her clock with Independents EVERY. SNIGLE. TIME.

(3,373 posts)Such dishonesty (a) is of no value - do you really think a 274 delegate lead is significantly more impressive than a "300+" delegate lead? - (b) reinforces the fact that Hillary will say anything - regardless of the truth - to get elected, a fact which 71% of registered voters already believe.

(17,064 posts)She sinks like a stone when those Independants vote. It's pretty stupid nominating a candidate who loses indies as bad as she does.

(1,432 posts)If she can steal the primary from Bernie, then it will be a piece of cake to steal it from Trump. Hell, Trump and Clinton are probably in cahoots anyhow to hand this election to Hillary. I predict Trump all of a sudden becomes Mr. Congenial once the GE starts in Hillary is his opponent. They are old buddies of the same club.

(24,089 posts)He was able to pivot, but she still is receiving it from both Bernie and Trump.
Once she can focus solely on Trump, these polls will be more meaningful.

(3,373 posts)This reaffirms her greatest weakness. It will backfire.

(2,353 posts)If she pivots (we all know she is going to) then it will turn off even more voters.

(454 posts)Hillary's issue with many Americans is the sense that she is utterly fake and her real agenda has shit to do with any of us.
Pivoting will merely prove that point.

(17,064 posts)And if she careens any further Right she's going to make Dick Cheney look like a liberal. And she's already burned her bridges to the left. Not sure who is left for her to pander to. She's fucked.

(1,198 posts)Hillary is the most status quo establishment candidate we have ever considered nominating who wasn't an incumbent

(9,385 posts)Lawrence O'Donnell did a spot a few days ago showing how Hillary has never yet reversed a slide in the polls, and he showed examples. So interesting.
Buh bye, Hillary.

(12,471 posts)Don't blame it on Bernie supporters if your candidate loses, blame it on the independents, as they are clearly 1/3 of the electorate, and shall be the deciding factor in the election.
Even if ALL of the Democrats voted for her, she would still have to capture more than 1/2 of the independents. With likeability ratings that she has, this is not going to happen.
