We're up to around 6 polls with similar results, IIRC.

IMHO that means the DNC had better be working furiously on platform changes to bring in as many Sanders voters as possible.

I don't see how this would work. Clinton has a reputation of saying whatever is expedient in the moment, and then doing whatever she wants later. The most recent example being her going back on her word about the CA debate. That means any promises via the platform will not be believed.

In addition, that same track record makes it extremely difficult for Clinton to get the independents and liberal Republicans that make the difference in these polls. She can't fix 20 years of history in 5 months, especially with her untrustworthy numbers.

As I said about a year ago, Clinton is an extremely dangerous candidate for our party.
