(2,493 posts)If Hills needs help in CA then she's really in trouble. Maybe Tim Kaine or Bob Casey? Someone that might help in the swing states. Alternatively Liz Warren would energize some of the Bernie liberals that aren't so fond of Hills. Problem with Warren is that she might not play well in the swing states. Lots of questions over who would best help a poor presidential candidate get over the line.

Trade deals should be considered as carefully as other legislation.

(98 posts)I want Sanders. I'm for unifying the party and Sanders would do just that. Plus, once the rallies start, can you imagine the crowd size these rallies would be? We would pack a football stadium where it would look like a Super Bowl.
Wouldn't matter who Trump picked as his VP, they could not beat a Clinton/Sanders combination.
That's my pick.

(24,853 posts)As far as Newsome goes...
"In January 2007, it was revealed that Newsom had had a romantic relationship in mid-2005 with Ruby Rippey-Tourk, the wife of his former deputy chief of staff and then campaign manager, Alex Tourk. Tourk filed for divorce shortly after the revelation and left Newsom's campaign and administration. Newsom's affair with Rippey-Tourk impacted his popularity with male voters, who viewed his indiscretions as a betrayal of a close friend and ally."
