When was the last time a presidential candidate that promised tax hikes

On everyone won?

You think in General Election debates when the moderators grill bernie and demand specifics from him that the blue collar workers won't be turned off at the prospect of having their taxes increased dramatically?

Naderites and greens love to say that nothing unites the GOP like Hillary

But you don't think they'll unite to vote against a socialist that says breadlines are a good thing?

It's fucking amazing how naive some people are

They actually think a socialist has a chance to win a general election in the United states when that socialist can't even get out of the Democratic primary

Hillary is the only person that can unite the Democratic party she will have Obama and Clinton campaigning for her, she will have the Obama coalition voting for her and 70% of Sanders supporters say they will support her.

I guess you could say that this message is aimed at the fringe left that has been poisoned by the GOP and right wing propaganda and have drunk the kool aid

Get real folks a Socialist is not winning a general election in the United States

1. Oh brother, do us a favor and look up what a socialist is first please

The Red Army isn't coming and Stalin isn't being resurrected.
Canada isn't part of the Warsaw Pact and Denmark isn't close to Stalingrad.

You say tax hikes but in reality, most people would save money. Why is that such a bad idea? You've bought the Hillary marketing that Sanders wants tax hikes, when in reality it's nothing short of shifting cost away. Look at what people pay for health insurance as example. Millions saw their rates skyrocket under the ACA which is now in serious trouble as insurers like United Health care exit the market. Would you rather keep paying those rates which will go up every year or would you rather pay what the rest of the civilized world pays, almost nada.

So please, do us a favor and stop screaming socialism. It's obvious you don't know what it means and until you can point out where Bernie is calling for that means of production should be owned by a community atmosphere, quit it.

In the meantime, study the article below and realize Social Democrats are NOT Socialists.

"a way of organizing a society in which major industries are owned and controlled by the government rather than by individual people and companies" -- Merriam-Webster

So, Bernie Sanders wants to seize private property and businesses? Because that's what Donald Trump will be saying.

3. Tax hikes? No, that's not really true. Most people will save money over all.

It is a Libertarian idea to tax less (and provide less) but we've lost services and been paying more taxes while the 1% pay less.

Correcting that will mean higher taxes for some, but not for all.

It will take courage like Sanders has to be honest, and the people will flock to him.

that will be more than offset by savings on medical insurance.

Tell the truth, it is the wealthy who are worried about taxes.

Secondly he is a DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST who has to deal with a congress full of democrats and republicans.
