Is Bernie Campaigning in New Jersey?

California would be a symbolic win, but any realistic path to the nomination would have him winning by a blowout in CA and at least keeping it close in NJ.

That's a favorable state for Hillary, he needs to campaign hard there to have a shot. Is he running any tv ads? How many field offices does he have? How many rallies will he have?

and all I've seen is a couple of Bernie signs - no Hillary signs either. It's almost as if there's no election going on here. I'm chair of my town's Democratic Party and the County Committee is supporting Hillary - so I know that some campaigning is going on. I support Sanders but honestly I see no outreach. Maybe because of the declaration of the County Committee?

As Chair, I refused our District Leaders to be on the line with Hillary and there was no way we could get on the Bernie line. So we're running on a separate line of our own.

I'm in Essex County - a County which is one of the deciding factors in Democratic politics, yet only Hillary surrogates have been here.

He appears to have scaled back his campaigning across the board, really. He's a smart man. He can see the numbers. What's happening now is just positioning himself for the convention so he'll have some influence on things like the party platform.

Bernie knows he will not be the nominee. For all intents and purposes, his primary chances are over.

It is why most of his remaining time and money is in California.

But this quote was kind of funny...

Sen. Sanders today, Sen. Clinton later in the week and, next week, Donald Trump. It may not be New Hampshire in July, but this is the most primary election action New Jersey has seen in decades.

So I guess I'd say that, while your question about Bernie's campaign activities is a good one, the answer would also have to be looked at in the context of what Hillary's campaign activities are there as well.
