So Bernie wants to go on Fox and team up with Hannity and O'Reilly to attack Hillary.

No thanks. If he wants to make a campaign issue out of it, good luck.

It's 3 million votes and 270 delegates to make up, and he's losing in both CA and NJ polls. Bye bye Bernie!

The race is essentially over. If FOX wants to have a runner up debate Bernie Sanders can debate Ted Cruz.

It has nothing to do with an abundance or paucity of courage and everything to do with common sense. Secretary Clinton is leading a movement to prevent incipient fascism from getting a foot in the White House in the name of Donald Trump. FOX NEWS is abetting Donald Trump. Appearing in a FOX debate would only help him and them.

.

We all know FOX News is skewed 100% for Trump.

We also know FOX News is shown in the majority of business establishments and is used as the counter to left-leaning media. The goal of a Democratic Leader is to promote the Democratic views, and skirting that responsibility just helps to reinforce the fascist views that might just gain a foothold into the White House.

Avoiding fascism is appeasement, and we know how well that worked with Neville Chamberlain.

There was also comments how she would not appear on FOX News, several months ago, based on how they attacked her in the past. That is not presidential material, but shows a pettiness that is ill-advised when they hold such a market share and have influence spanning many news outlets, under the balanced news paradigm.

She has nothing to gain by going on FOX. It would be vainglorious. She would be putting her ego ahead of the battle against fascism. That she sublimates it for us is what I like about her. She is our own Otto Wells. All people of good will hope she fares better than he did. This could be the last democratic election in the history of the republic.

BTW, I was just reading about martial law. What if Trump calls for martial law?

What if he calls for a twenty first century ersatz version of Germany's Enabling Act right here?

That cat is dangerous. I'm not playing with him and I counsel others not to.

That is exactly it. If she wants to hammer on Trump and his shortcomings, what better place to do it. She's avoiding anything that might make her look bad. Not very presidential.

Get real! People who watch Fox will not vote for Clinton anyways.

I'm glad she didn't go there. If it was Sanders that had decided he would not go, and Hillary agreed to go to Fox--then you would be praising Sanders for not going.

First of all, congratulations on posting over 1000 comments after only being a member here for just over a month. I must correct you about the teaming up part. Neither one of the two hosts you mentioned would probably even be at the debate, much less hosting it. Bernie would also not team up with them but nice try with the speculative mudslinging. Hillary did agree to a debate in California earlier this year so it is her that should be ridiculed, not Bernie. Perhaps David Brock could give you better suggestions if you asked him.

or honor her commitments.

She is nothing more than a wholly owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs. Good luck with that in the GE... In case you haven't noticed, the natives have become restless with respect to Wall Street & Corporate America continuing to fuck over working-class and poor Americans. I don't see it ending well for HRC.

but the special little snowflakes on Team Hillary specialize in giving insults, not taking them, so I try to go easy on their fragile little psyches.

They are in for a very rude awakening when the Far Right opens up with millions of dollars of attack ads on HRC. She's an easy target. Good luck defending her.

Bernie, on the other hand, DIDN'T go into politics to get rich, and would present a far more difficult challenge to the wingnuts. But go ahead, step right up and grab that 2nd place GE ribbon/trophy/certificate.

In it Hillary and Bernie do agree to a debate on Fox News. Only instead of wasting time debating each other they ignore the questions and join forces denouncing Trump as the danger he is to America and mankind. Imagine the panic of the Fox news Trump quislings as they dive for cover while Hillary and Bernie explain to Americans on Fox News that a vote for Trump will mean nothing less than the downfall of America and the entire world. Of course this is just a dream movie. Such truth never becomes clear in the real world.
