Many Bernie Sanders suporters have flat out said how they feel. The admins know. Skinner said in ATA that the crackdown will be after the voting ends (don't take my word - go look).

My opinion -many will vote for Hillary. However, the point is made that a voter in Wyoming could probably vote however they want and not change the outcome.

As frustrating as these discussions become, I am not in favor of a purge.

But in private I will either

1) of course vote for them or

2) not tell anybody that I live in a state where my vote doesn't count, so I'm deceptively influencing those who live in states where it could be a life or death decision.

Most are the latter and don't realize that even though they can kick back on the recliner in their plush home, they are intentionally inflicting harm o those who are the most vulnerable in our society and don't want to be deported or tossed into a gulag.

If Bernie Sanders is not nominated I don't expect my life to change all that much. I'll be 75 in September so the country should still be intact by the time I go. Although I don't give it too many more years. At least not as a democracy.

There was water in our creek this winter for the first time in several years. I'm in the foothills near Yosemite.

Actually I haven't lived in Tulare since I was 18 but it sounded like a nice alliterative screen name as opposed to where I live now.

I should really read profiles.

My forebears are from Fresno, and I once lived in the Bay Area. I remember seeing photos of crazy stuff they were finding in Shaver Lake when the water was low. I hope we can stay in this La Nina pattern for a while longer.

Her supporters know that. She does not have the numbers. They live in fear of a streak of fairness in a contested convention or a streak of justice from the Department of Justice.

I'm confident the convention will be just fine, and run under the same rules as last time., and I'm pretty confident that Hillary Clinton will be the presumtive nominee on 6/8. I think if an indictment were coming, it would have come already.

Parachuting Biden into the candidacy is going to be tricky enough without having someone still on the trail who has quite a few Democratic votes already.

And we all know that the establishment will never, ever make Sanders the de facto nominee which is what an indictment would do before he drops out of the race.

but I can safely say that Hillary Clinton will NEVER win in Alaska (we haven't voted for a Democratic presidential nominee since 1964 + Bernie won the caucus here by 82-18) and we're only three electoral votes anyway. I love living in Alaska because I can always vote my conscience when it comes to presidents. State offices and US Senate/House are the only elections where my vote might make a difference.

Let me counter: If Skinner comes out after DC, and says anyone stating that they are not voting for Hillary is getting thrown off DU, why would those insisting they are not voting for Hillary want to stay?

It's obviously a protest vote because people are afraid to vote for a specific option, the thread is littered with posts afraid of the ramifications. Skinner isn't banning people against Clinton, he's going to ban people who are actively against Clinton. You can still be anti-Clinton. Just don't post about it after the primaries start. Heck knows that DU is a nexus if anti-Obama sentiment on the internet, yet people are still active here.

...I won't advocate against voting for the Democratic presidential nominee or advocate for voting for someone other than the Democratic presidential nominee on this site.

That would be contrary to my understanding of the intention of the site and agreements of its users.

I haven't been super-engaged with this presidential election thus far. I'm going to vote for Sanders in the California primary. I have concern that Clinton would implement a foreign policy I would find terrible.
