You might want to remove ' who would be better for the country' from the electability box and stand it in its own box next to the who can beat tRump box, too.
I like it. Very clear.

(2,812 posts)rectangle. End points are generally circles or ovals, not diamonds, as they are decision points.
In addition the flowchart runs into a single rectangle (decision point) labeled who will beat Trump...
In this case you don't even need the first informational rectangles of the flow chart.
You could just start in that rectangle. The rectangles immediately following the "who will beat Trump" decision point should be part of the decision point.
According to this, somewhat different, flowchart, since the decision is made on whom to vote for by whether they will beat trump or not. You don't need all that extra information prior to that.
If one just wants to put out bullet points for the candidates, that is fine, but a flow chart really isn't a great place to do that.

(4,407 posts)Damn, that's a lot of negativity!
However, you forgot the all-important reason to vote for Hillary: She's The Democrat (tm)! Bernie is an independent, even though he's registered democrat now. And shut up about Hillary being a republican! That was a while ago.

(4,407 posts)The Hillary acolytes love to point out how Sanders was independent but never touch Hillary being a republican.
Don't worry, I'm right there with you. my reply above was meant to be somwhat sarcastic about how Hillary is The Democrat (tm).

(5,969 posts)Insinuating that Hillary might be worse than Trump and that one should write in Bernie Sanders if he doesn't win the nomination is clearly not in the spirit of this forum. Stressing that one should still write him in even if he would ask his supporters to vote for the Democratic candidate is done deliberately because should Bernie lose, he will definitely support Hillary.
Look, nothing wrong with being passionate about the candidate you support and absolutely nothing wrong with Bernie continueing to fight until the last voter had his say. But come on, we should be able to see when we are being played.

(11,175 posts)I completely agree with you in supporting Bernie for the nomination, both because he would be a better President and because he would be a stronger candidate against Trump.
You go on, however, to address the separate question of how to vote in the general election if it's Clinton versus Trump. In your "If I vote for Hillary" box, I agree with most of the criticisms but I see no point on which Clinton is worse than Trump. (As a comparatively minor correction, Clinton was on the Board of Directors of Wal-Mart but was never CEO.) In addition, Trump would willingly sign all kinds of horrible bills that Congress sent him. (A Trump win would probably mean continued Republican control of the Senate. Even if the Democrats took a narrow majority, they would probably lose it in 2018, and until then there would be plenty of bad bills that got through with a few conservaDem votes.) He would issue all kinds of bad executive orders, such as reinstating the global gag rule (reproductive rights) and rescinding much of the good that Obama's done through executive orders. I shudder to think about how he would staff the executive branch, in the appointive positions, and that of course reminds one of the ultimate hold-your-nose-and-vote-for-Clinton trump card, the Supreme Court and other federal courts.
If Clinton becomes President, I expect to disagree with a lot of what she does, but she wouldn't be nearly as bad as Trump would be.

(22,976 posts)Sounds flaky, but I'm voting for Sanders in the upcoming CA primary while getting used to the idea of supporting Clinton in the general, if that's how things shake out. Regardless, a Trump presidency is a horrible thing to contemplate for this country and the world. He'll always be a very loose cannon, petty, belligerent, uninformed and yes, dangerous. The proto-fascist Trump must be defeated.
