Clinton cronies smearing voters she'll need

Painting DNC establishment as victims of Bernie thugs will fuel progressive insurrection, not stop it.

As Hillary Clinton declares that “there is no way I won’t be” the Democratic presidential nominee, her establishment cronies continue to try to pressure Bernie Sanders out of the race. The latest gambit casts Sanders' supporters as violent thugs.

Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz told MSNBC that she found the behavior of Sanders’ supporters, upset over what they saw as procedural shenanigans at the recent Nevada convention, “seriously disturbing” and chided them for “throwing chairs” and “engaging in violence.”

There’s a slight problem with this claim: It never happened.

Snopes.com and NPR’s ombudsman both concluded that there is no evidence a single chair was thrown at the convention meeting. It appears a person lifted a chair and put it back down. Oh, the horror. NPR’s ombudsman also concluded that use of the word “violence” by her organization was inappropriate, as no violence seems to have occurred.

It’s bad enough for reporters, pundits and Clinton supporters to repeat explosive claims about the convention, as widely occurred, but when the head of the DNC attempts to smear primary voters with false accusations, she has officially crossed the line.

2. Maybe it's because Bernie is an actual threat.

Sanders is coming close enough to give Clinton supporters an actual scare, even though it's clear she can simply coast across the finish line. I guess perhaps they're not as much scared as they are angry. I don't know how else to explain why Sanders gets blamed every time somebody almost throws a chair, or calls a super delegate at 3:00 AM.

Of course, the state is more askew than a Mayor Daley alderman's garage treasure chests of nickels and dimes, so who knows?

Outside of Lake County, Sonoma and Napa, the other counties are simply bought and paid for.

Although someone in both parties select people as Registrar of Voters who are very personable.

"You fucking Berniebros are all white supremacists and misogynists! Stupid kids, all you want is free stuff and you can't even look up from your phones! Communists, all of you, you want America to be weak and you hate Israel and love Russia and Putin! You're all miserable Obama-hating trump-supporting fifth column fucks, too! You should have absolutely no say in the platform at the convention and I hope you all fucking die, you and your dick-chasing gender-traitor mothers and girlfriends and wives and sisters and daughters!

But please, remember to vote Hillary Clinton in November, guys."

6. Politifact: Allegations of fraud and misconduct at Nevada Democratic convention unfounded

http://www.politifact.com/nevada/statements/2016/may/18/jeff-weaver/allegations-fraud-and-misconduct-nevada-democratic/

Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver said Nevada Democratic Party leaders "hijacked the process on the floor" of the state convention "ignoring the regular procedure and ramming through what they wanted to do."

Caucuses and delegate math can be incredibly confusing, and the arcane party structures don’t reflect how most people assume presidential selection works.

But the howls of unfairness and corruption by the Sanders campaign during Nevada’s state Democratic Convention can’t change the simple fact that Clinton’s supporters simply turned out in larger numbers and helped her solidify her delegate lead in Nevada.

There’s no clear evidence the state party "hijacked" the process or ignored "regular procedure."

We rate this claim False.
