And the republicans will never win

California, New York, or Illinois. I guess both parties should only hold primaries in states they win in the GE. Way to disenfranchise democrats in rural parts of the country who helped save the senate in 2012 (North Dakota, Montana, Missouri, Indiana). States that tend to vote blue in the GE are already awarded extra delegates (California gets more than double the pledged delegates of Texas, but only has 50% more people) and supers (blue states tend to vote for more dem elected officials, who are supers). So the billy-jack bullshit that says states that we don't win in the GE shouldn't count in the primary needs to stop.

I posted this in another thread, but thought it would make a good OP.

A lot of rules don't seem to make sense. It seems likely that states that are more Democratic in November probably have more Democratic Congressman and Senators than Republican states. That probably translates into greater influence when it comes to writing rules for a national party.
