10. The State IG may have just slapped a wrist. The FBI and DOJ have yet to announce their findings

and decision.

Regardless, this will continue to be a millstone around Hillary's campaign. And more so as we move towards GE.

27. I'm suggesting Clinton once again is held to a different standard,

that record keeping problems and email problems are not isolated to her or The State Dept. and that it is being used against her for political purposes. I think the fact the IG report is so heavily targeting her is just how it worked out because thats what her enemies intended.

You can draw your own conclusion.

28. It isn't a different standard, it is two different situations.

She had a private server on her private premises, they did not. She skirted rules to protect federal records and deleted files, they did not.

34. That isn't the case at all

“At a minimum, Secretary Clinton should have surrendered all emails dealing with Department business before leaving government service and, because she did not do so, she did not comply with the Department’s policies that were implemented in accordance with the Federal Records Act."

She failed to follow policies that keep State in compliance with the Federal Records Act. Her work emails are the property of the government and, when not classified, should be available to the people through FOIA. She does not have any authority under the law to decide what can and can't be deleted.

36. By all means keep digging, here's some bedtime reading for you

Justice Department: “State Department employees may delete messages they deem in their own discretion to be personal.” “Second, because personal records are not subject to FOIA, and State Department employees may delete messages they deem in their own discretion to be personal, Plaintiff ’s preservation argument reduces to an unsupported allegation that former Secretary Clinton might have mistakenly or intentionally deleted responsive agency records rather than personal records. But Plaintiff offers no support for such a theory, and government agencies are not required to take steps to recover deleted material based on unfounded speculation that responsive information had been deleted.” [Justice Department Filing, Case 1:12-cv-02034-RBW, 9/9/15]

Department of Justice lawyers ruled Hillary Clinton “had authority to delete personal emails without agency supervision.” “In the most complete legal defense of Mrs. Clinton, Justice Department lawyers insisted they not only have no obligation, but no power, to go back and demand the former top diplomat turn over any documents she hasn’t already given — and neither, they said, can the court order that. The defense came as part of a legal filing telling a judge why the administration shouldn’t be required to order Mrs. Clinton and her top aides to preserve all of their emails. ‘There is no question that Secretary Clinton had authority to delete personal emails without agency supervision — she appropriately could have done so even if she were working on a government server,’ the administration lawyers argued. ‘Under policies issued by both the National Archives and Records Administration (‘NARA’) and the State Department, individual officers and employees are permitted and expected to exercise judgment to determine what constitutes a federal record.’” [Washington Times, 9/10/15]

40. Did you read what you posted?

She had the authority to delete emails that were personal. She deleted thousands of emails that were deemed to be work product, many of them classified, and all covered under the Federal Records Act. Nobody cares about her personal emails - she had a responsibility to:

1. Keep any work related emails and turn them over to State based on the practices in place at State to meet the requirements of the Federal Records Act

2. To insure classified emails and materials were protected and secure utilizing government approved methods, of which a private server is not one.

The personal emails post above is a distraction from the thousands of emails she was not allowed to delete and has no bearing on her failure to meet the requirements of the Federal Records Act.

42. Yet I've seen nothing about HRC winning Washington...

...and B.S. getting the lion's share of delegates.

For those who haven't heard/seen coverage of that, here's the summary:

http://www.oregonlive.com/pacific-northwest-news/index.ssf/2016/05/trump_clinton_win_washington_s.html

Clinton's win might give her some momentum, but it won't get her any delegates. There were no delegates at stake in the Democratic primary. Washington Democrats already awarded their delegates based on party caucuses.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders won Washington's caucuses in March, getting 74 delegates. Clinton got 27.

Republicans in Washington will allocate all 44 delegates to their national convention based on the primary results.
