Debunking the catchphrases "socialist", "America is centrist", etc.

Recently I used this as a response to someone but I thought I would go ahead and make it also it's own OP with a little tweaking.

Why is it so many Hillary supporters say "America is a centrist, capitalist country. We are not and will never be socialist."
Are they aware what Socialist even is because I'm thinking many don't.

Socialist is the former DDR and USSR, it isn't countries like Canada, Germany, Sweden or Denmark.

We need to clear the air with that first.

Secondly, why do so many Hillary supporters say we'll never be socialist but in reality we already are.
What are things like social security, national highways, libraries, police and fire and public education?

Now let's look at something else. That whole "we'll never be" thing.

Are Hillary supporters aware that most American's agree with Bernie's policies? (I'm sure some of you are but I also think many are in the dark perhaps?)

2. Not commenting on the text and graphics of your post; but, ...

it doesn't matter if HRC supporters know what "Socialism" is ... what matters is whether the rest of America does and/or whether they are willing to learn.

But take heart ... we will have more than 4 years, possibly 8, to inform them. Let's get to work!
